Even if that's true, which is ridiculous, why are we adding a 42 year old statue into the mix for 30m?

Because that 42 year old statue is a 6 time Super Bowl winner and business picks up the moment he walks through the door..

He played on a team with no offensive weapons and it eventually caught up to the entire team.

He walks into Dallas and he has a Oline that can protect, a RB to hand off too, a talented WR group, and we play in a dome stadium and get him out of the North East weather elements.

Im sure Denver fans were questioning bringing in Manning as well because of his neck and how Tebow lead the team to the playoffs and won a playoff game.

At the very least if your Dallas and Tom Brady you play some footsie and make Dak & New England panic.

Fans need to need to remember, it's my understanding Brady is considering FA coz he wanna finally get some $$$$$ for his true value. In other words, I'm guessing it going to take a MIN $35-38M to get his name on a contract.

Would be all for it if Brady was a few years younger. But, age isn't always a factor with QBs, especially the ones that eat the crap Brady does lol.

I really would like to see what he could do with this O-line, and receivers.

I was saying before that his experience and exceptional ability reading defenses, may trump physical decline.

Not sure age really affects Brady like some either, he isn't an air ball guy. I mean Brady dinks and dunks a lot too... but on target, leading receivers, and does it intelligently.

I dunno... I have said I think it is sad that a franchise like this hasn't found their Brady or Brees by now.. Just not so sure a 43yr old Brady is what I was looking for.
But... I would be willing to try it. Man would it burn Pats fans... Can you imagine how pissed they would be if he got another ring in Dallas? lol

I think all Dak fans are Cowboys fans. Some just feel like they need validation for their opinion at any cost.

Yeah... I would say 95% at least... the other 5% may actually follow Dak like those Grateful Dead and Phish fans lol.
May even see some of them on the news for stalking lol.

Think of it this way then:
  • Pay Brady that $35 million a year over Dak (it's the same dollars range)
  • Tag and trade Dak as Irvin mentioned and get at least one 1st round pick, and likely more
  • Use one of your picks to groom a quarterback behind Brady until he retires
I like Dak but that is a deal I would take...many moving parts but most difficult is getting a GM or team to give up a 1st for Dak...
Big stakes but plausible

It makes a lot of sense to me.. I’ve been advocating for this move..

At the very least you leverage this against Dak.

This could be our Denver Bronco move. I say go for it.. 2 year window and go all in on this thing.

Me too. As I’ve said again and again, if they really wanted Dak here why isn’t he resigned. Jerry ain’t dumb. The time to sign Dak was last year. You just can’t sign him to a long term $35M per year deal. That’d ruin this franchise.

Sign Brady and make a run at the Super Bowl. Draft your QB of the future. It’s the move to make.

Michael Irvin fuels speculation about Cowboys signing Tom Brady

Is it time to consider the Dallas Cowboys a serious suitor for Tom Brady in free agency?

Rather than paying up for Prescott, who reportedly wants more than $30 million per year, they could franchise tag the 26-year-old before trading him and replacing him with the 42-year-old Brady.

Seems like a wild idea, right? Well, apparently it's a realistic scenario.

Appearing Friday on WEEI's "Dale & Keefe," NFL Network's Michael Irvin revealed he and "significant people" at the Super Bowl discussed the possibility of such a move.

"I am telling you right now, at the Super Bowl in Miami, some very significant people that I had conversations (with were) leaning in that same direction," Irvin said. "It was shocking. I had a vodka cranberry in my hand and when they said it to me I put the drink down and said, ‘Let's talk a little bit more about this.' I promise you, I had a conversation with people, I can't tell you who, about that same scenario going down."

Stephen Jones: Mike, we want to fire a shot over the bow of Dak's agent's ship...I'll text you what to say.

By the way did your family enjoy using Dad's yacht...

trade Dak for a first AND sign Tom Brady...to an offense with talent he was lacking in NE. Can you say Super Bowl for 2 years straight? Yes please!

Sign Brady or Brees, draft a QB, and sign a better backup QB or one like Kaepernick if he agrees to a cost-effective deal.
