Brady may go down as the GOAT, but as a 43-year old QB he’s not going to be the difference maker for this team.
He can at least teach the Cowboys how to wrap up the weak NFC East early and at least make it past the divisional playoff round; which has been the current ceiling for the Cowboys for 20+ years.

What is NE going to do for a QB? The still have their OC and all Belichick has to do is promise to bring in some weapons. The question is does he want to pay Brady 30M? Would he rather try and get Rivers for less than that and start drafting for his next franchise QB? Or maybe Bridgewater?

Brady to LAC and they draft Herbert makes more sense. They're moving into the new digs and there is concern about ticket sales for them vs the Rams. Brady might be just the ticket for them.

And just who are the Cowboys going to trade Prescott to considering he wants to be highly paid and they'd have to give up a pick(s)? It would make more sense for the Cowboys to just sign Brady and let Prescott walk.

Does Brady fit McC's offense?

Michael Irvin fuels speculation about Cowboys signing Tom Brady

Is it time to consider the Dallas Cowboys a serious suitor for Tom Brady in free agency?

Rather than paying up for Prescott, who reportedly wants more than $30 million per year, they could franchise tag the 26-year-old before trading him and replacing him with the 42-year-old Brady.

Seems like a wild idea, right? Well, apparently it's a realistic scenario.

Appearing Friday on WEEI's "Dale & Keefe," NFL Network's Michael Irvin revealed he and "significant people" at the Super Bowl discussed the possibility of such a move.

"I am telling you right now, at the Super Bowl in Miami, some very significant people that I had conversations (with were) leaning in that same direction," Irvin said. "It was shocking. I had a vodka cranberry in my hand and when they said it to me I put the drink down and said, ‘Let's talk a little bit more about this.' I promise you, I had a conversation with people, I can't tell you who, about that same scenario going down."

Someone needs to explain to me what is happening in that picture with Irvin and Jerry.

In no fashin can/will this happen. The Cowboys have brought in a coaching staff to try and get Dak right. You don't do this and sign Brady, and give up on Dak. Not a chance will either option happen

Brady isn't what he used to be, but he would demand respect, I think he opens up both the passing and run game.

What a soap opera the Cowboys are. Can you imagine the ratings a Brady led Cowboys would bring? Jerry would pass out.

First game with a star on Brady’s helmet would be the highest rated in NFL history.

Thanks, but you know damn well that if they did that, this would be the year Brady got a herniated disc in preseason.

if they could get a monster draft haul for dak then do it. Everything has a price. Just make sure they take zeke and that horrid contract when they do it.

zeke and dak for the #1 pick in the draft. Done!!!

Might have to look at this type of move since it's becoming more obvious by the day that Dak either has himself extremely overrated or simply doesn't want to be here.........either way the FO can't allow this drama to consume the entire off season........with a new coaching staff in place there is a lot of work left to be done.......I'm sure McCarthy is not impressed.
