Cue the rue-age. LOL.

I'd like to see it but honestly don't see a need if we re-sign Cooper.

Cooper is a good all around WR with killer speed - Dez is one of the best X WRs ever - an awesome red zone target - if healthy, Dez is a beast

I doubt he is healthy, but make no mistake about it the Boys will sign or draft a big WR, if they resign Cooper or not

without a Jordy Nelson or Dez Bryant ... this O will continue wo clunk out at times - they are called "control" WRs for a reason

..maybe Big Mike and Moore can serve him as a abstract player on the offense. Boldly play him where one has gone before.

Cooper will want BIGGGGG change. Dak is already going to graze the bank. Dez will be happy to play for a Cracker Jack box. Its going to get interesting in a few months.

The parsimonious Stephen will be put to the test. This looms as one of the most critical off seasons in years.

When was there ever a question about Dez’s work ethic?

It seems like just yesterday several fans were happy to see Dez go and saying good riddance but are now clamoring for him to come back.

The always rolling Cowboys hype train is real!

This is interesting and could have some upsides but can Dez really be a blocking TE ? If he can’t be a blocking TE too wouldn’t it be a tip off to defenses that when he’s in it is a passing play ?

The packers got rid of cobb and Nelson yet still made it to the nfccg with a first year head coach. Dez was not coachable. In the end that was his biggest flaw.

Happy to see Dez go when paid as a top 5 WR, happy to have him back on vet min...you can’t see a difference?

He wouldn’t be a blocking TE. He could be a Noah Brown type blocking reciever though. He was always a pretty good blocker IMO.

We have Gallup for the jump balls. I personally wouldn't want Dez back but if he put the star back on its not like I'm gonna not cheer for him...

Gallup catches most of his balls with his body and the back of his arms. He's never been a point of attack catch guy.

Gallup is a far superior receiver to dez. He is also very coachable. Something dez was not.

Does Gallup catch jump balls or not? Some try to get too technical. A big reason I personally didnt mind letting Dez go to begin with was he was not catching the jump balls anymore and some blamed it on Dak; however, Gallup has no problem.

He’s slowed down for sure but speed has never been his strength. As long as he can still win jump balls let’s do it...on a team-friendly contract of course.
Adrenaline is beautiful, and on the field no one has more then 88

His last 3 years are etched in stone. Not much to see. 2 years removed from the game will not have made him better. Just don't see him in silver and blue again.
But I would think the knee and ankle have really healed by now.

The Achilles is an issue but with continued care and being on a pitch count for snaps..

will continue his recovery.

He's what..32 ? With a year and a half to heal up? Get him Jaylon Smith's doctor. He seems to know his stuff.

I hope he gets a chance to play again.

Now, it’s a totally different situation. Back then he was an underachieving or declining #1 WR making top money and frequently finding himself in situations that caused a distraction to the team. Now he would be an inexpensive unknown gamble that could simply be cut if he has nothing to offer the new offense. He appears eager to play and play in Dallas and has stayed out of trouble for quite a while now. What does it cost you except 1 out of 90 roster spots throughout training camp. I don’t have any confidence that he would actually show enough to make the team but I’ve got no problem seeing what he has left on a 1 year minimum deal with some small incentives if he actually makes it and is productive.

Has he suddenly become coachable? Did he learn to run routes while recovering from Achilles surgery? All I've seen is dez on his belly acting like an obj wannabe.

No...his routes sucked and he was a distraction. Call it passion or call it whatever you want but when he didn’t get the ball he would yell at Dak and sulk. He also had quite a few drops, including Green Bay.

I get what you’re saying but he was such a distraction...it was nice to move on from that circus as he was the ring leader.
