The app has all teams listed with Cowboys at 3rd easiest. I know it’s hard to always judge a team by their previous year but we have the Seahawks, Rams, Vikings, Bengals and Ravens on the road. That alone is tough. At home it looks a little easier but still we have the 49ers and Steelers along with Cardinals, Browns and Falcons. Add in the usually tough division games and it doesn’t seem so ”easy” to me.

I know they use a computer to figure the strength of schedule but unless I saw it wrong we are supposed to have an easy time .

I see double digit wins if they keep their quarterback and receivers in place.

Wait and see mode is my view.
It all starts over now that there's a new coach.
Defense will most likely improve, just based on a cohesive staff approach.
If the offense basically stays intact, I venture to say we get double digit wins.

When you have two of the worse teams in your division and the division winner at 9-7. This skews it a bit, as those games are tougher than the records indicate.

Bengals were a very injured team, that will be a harder game than some think.

Good, now the Egals can have the tougher schedule. They won the division mainly because they didn't have to play the Rams nor Saints. Wentzie would have faked an injury prior both of those games no doubt.

What's it going to be then, eh?

Every time one of these threads would appear, I would always feel .500 was the deal with Garrett.

I think McCarthy is good for one additional victory at least just by handling the little things.

My current prediction with nothing changing, if we took the field tomorrow is 9-7.

Until we see more on the field, that's a safe bet.

The reason for the rating is likely because those “usually tough” division games have been anything but lately. 5 of the 6 games were laughers and the other one should have been too if not for the team wide choke job.

Should be called the "The Way Too Early to Tell Possibility of Easy and Hard Schedules in the NFL." As a kid we waited until July/August to buy magazines at the newsstand for those things. And even those weren't generally the best forecasts. Today its more like, "If the 2019 Cowboys were playing the 2020 schedule this is what we could expect." Hello, the draft ain't even over!

Before this year everyone thought Dallas, Chicago and Cleveland would be really tough teams to play and they were easy.

everyone thought Buffalo and SF would be a cakewalk and they dominated.

There’s 4-8 teams every year who are almost the polar opposite of what’s expected in either direction.

Next year if Arizona gets OL help, the Giants develop Daniel Jones, Seattle and Philly are healthy and Miami fields and actual NFL roster, those are already 5 teams that are much better than their record this year suggests even though 2 were already playoff teams.

SF could backslide depending on how Jimmy G deals with his 4th quarter failure and that DL will start to have contracts come up. Rodgers is getting no younger and who knows what Brees wants to do in NO. Does he want to put in all the work just for another early playoff exit? Giving the NFL a whole offseason to review Lamar Jackson’s film, will they stop his offense like they did Kaepernick?

About the ONLY sure things I think are likely for next year:

- Carolina is doing a complete rebuild as evidenced by giving a 7 year deal to Rhule.

- Cincinnati will go through growing pains of a rookie QB

- If KC stays healthy they’ll be in the conversation for at least next year and probably a few more.

- Jacksonville is in complete disarray with the London situation.

Why every time we have a soft schedule, shocker we go to the playoffs and vice we go home.
I'm not sure. It's hard to determine the strength in a schedule this early. I think it's mostly for fun.
