If they're going to get stupid and sign Dak then I hope they do it soon.

I'm tired of Dallas dragging their feet with guys they know are going to sign anyways while their value goes up each year because they have all collectively decided that it's good to pay your guy as much or more then players that are better then them.

Jerry needs to send his jet too Cabo or wherever Dak is, fly him to his helicopter, so they can fly him to his yacht. Then he can sign Dak, so Jerry can say....well, Dak with this new record high contract and all your new endorsements, one day you to can have all of this. :muttley:

Dak isn't going to be traded anywhere and 40 something Brady isn't coming to save the day. Magic Johnson errrr I mean Michael Irvin really should chill and let the big boys do what they do. The Dallas Cowboys and Dakota Rayne are in the midst of a negotiation. They didn't keep Kellen Moore on as OC just because he has cute hair. Happy Monday folks. Don't fall for the fake news. The revolution will not be televised.
My theory is that Michael thinks he is helping the negotiation move forward by putting it out there that he had inside information. Maybe Daks get nervous and tells his agent to ink the deal.

The problem is even if he had inside information that Tom is an option....Tom nor the Patriots have not publically said that they were moving their separate ways. What if Dak is upset that the FO is not all in on him? So you may have actually made Dak want to leave.....on the small possibility that Tom is not going to play in NE next season? It wasnt a smart comment by Irvin at all.

Agreed. I’m not sure Brady can even throw a 20 yard out anymore. I wouldn’t sign Tom Brady for anything. He’s become Muhammad Ali- once “the greatest” but now just “the oldest”. He needs to retire.

This. It might have been worth considering if he had done this 5 years ago, but not now.

Madden would be like Dallas trading Dak and 4 1st round picks for Mahomes. Both Dak and Brady are FA, it's as simple as not signing one. As for the other yeah it requires more work. Why do people present the argument like our fate is already etched in stone? What exactly is there to lose if we don't follow the script that'll get us nowhere?

"We" have no say in the matter. The Jones Boys have made their intentions clear so I see no point in pretending something else is going to happen. Whether or not "we" agree with them is irrelevant.

Takes two parties to accept one agreement. Both parties will sign a mutually acceptable contract. Obviously, Prescott and his agent have not agreed completely upon anything Jones has placed on the negotiating table. Yet.

It would have been my preference that an agreement would have been completed before last season. I do not think it is unquestionable to assume that the party playing hardball is Prescott's. It is his prerogative and the front office will likely bow down to some of Prescott's terms but not all of them. The continued delay is the process. No Garrett pun intended.

If we're being honest about the situation the team would've had him wrapped up in 2018 if he was "it". I just find it very hard to believe based on how much cap we have invested in the offense, having a newly acquired head coach, looking at what teams have won the super bowl with the highest paid QB, looking at what teams failed to reach the playoffs despite having one of the healthiest teams in one of the weakest divisions that the team is just going to blindly give in to an "above average, but nothing more" QB. And when I say above average, I'm talking about the leadership qualities.

You'd have to understand Magic and his stint in the Lakers front office to understand my statement.

Google "Kawhi talks to Magic Johnson"....

Funny you should say that. In my Franchise mode, I let Dak walk and signed Mariota for PEANUTS!

He then led me to the ship on All-Madden- maybe there is something there????????????????????????

Nobody actually believe Brady is coming here.

But we do know that old Brady is still twice the quarterback Dak is. Just only for a year or two max.
