Who Dak elevated? Who has said man without Dak this player we would never see the best of this player? Who said Romo never had talent? When you're in your feelings you start reading things any ole way. I said Dak can't even play good when he did have that type of talent which isn't the same thing you said I said smh. Dak isn't that good. He beats up on teams picking in the top of the draft and fools people like you who get all your info from espn and fs1. I hope Alex Smith Jr gets better since I'm a fan of the Cowboys but I'm not holding my breath on him getting better all of a sudden.
I guess we can leave out all the time Romo didn’t beat better teams? I get my info from watching the games friend. And Dak has proven he can best anyone. If you want to blame anyone for the lack of success against winning teams hes now the offensive coordinator for the giants. His timid conservative nature held this team and Dak back against better competition countless times. How does the head coach not bring the team outside to practice heading into a cold wet game in New England? How does he go into a shell on the road against New Orleans? The common factor for both quarterbacks is Garrett. The only difference is Romo had time to learn. Dak was thrown into the fire in his first year. And with a 13-3 record I think he handled it rather well.

You can add whatever you want to add to a me Alex Smith jr look better than he is. You're not watching the games friend if you think Dak is any type of top tier QB. Dak has proven if its a blowout he can put up junk numbers to fool people like yourself. Nah I want to blame Dak because when the Cowboys win he gets all or most of the praise so when hey lose he gets all or most of the blame. Yeah another person still telling me about the 13-3 days from football eons ago. We are in the year 2020 good sir and right now he's a run of the mill nfl starter hence why I've been calling him Alex Smith Jr.

Yeah... Unfortunately stats don't factor in opponents.. Dak was great against garbage teams.

We saw how he did in big games.. We've seen the post season success he has had under his Rookie contract. (virtually none)

If Dak was one of the best NFL QB's we easily make the playoffs.

If charts like this are your proof that Dak is awesome then why not try to get Derek Carr.

If I can get Carr for 25 or Dak for 35-40 then give me Carr.
If Dak was one of the best in the NFL than he would already have his contract, and we would all be happy posters.
the question is how much time do you want to invest in development, didn't we already just go through that with the Romo era, and what did that net,, entertainment at best on sunday.
Other than being bigger and more physical and able to withstand getting hit, I honestly don't think Dak has even close to the amount of pure talent that Romo Possessed.
If you could take Romos brain and put into Daks body, we got something,, but right now, we are just reliving the Romo era all over, just polar extremes.
