Don't agree with any of this statement. 1. Rivers isn't terrible. 2. With the offensive line talent we completely dwarf theres. 3. With saying all that Dak is still the clear choice.

River's is going to start wherever he goes, if he plays next year, the qb talent isn't good enough on a league level for this not to be the case, River's is much better than what this channel wants to give him credit for. He certainly isn't top tier, but he can definitely improve a teams chance to win on a weekly basis, if they have no one.

I think Rivers is probably finally over the hill. He actually WAS Eli-like this year. Just awful as far has ints go.

Career-wise....It's not even remotely close. He's always thrown way less ints than Eli, and usually more TDs as well to go with a way higher QB rating.
His TD-int differential is nearly 100 better over the same number of seasons! Just so much better than Eli in that regard.
I think maybe you were exaggerating to make a point?

Chargers every year, have a myriad of injuries I would put them in the top 5 in the league the past 5 years. Their FO doesn't like signing big names either and over the years have let some key parts go.

Rivers is too old and has become reckless with the ball the last few years. The one thing Dak isn't is reckless. Even I wouldn't swap Dak out for him.

What about Taysum Hill. Trade our 1st round pick to the Saints and give him 30 million guaranteed. He is more athletic then Dak and throws a better spiral. We can then bring back Cooper, Byron, Quinn and other free agents. Championship!!!!! I think some of the Dak haters would want this.

He needs to get one because he is an elite from that draft class.

He's and elite "from that draft class", but that doesn't make him elite in the scheme of things, and especially not at age 38. He was a very good QB for his career, but he is not the right direction for the Cowboys. I don't think he would upgrade the position at this point in his career, and he would be, at best, a stand in for a year or two.

Good choice. Dude completed 100% of his passes in the playoffs last year. 50 yards per attempt.

Mahomes couldn't even do that

Brees just wears out late in the season. This and last year he looked "old" by the time the playoffs rolled around.

Sadly, I think his window is closed for another ring.

Rivers was AFC Romo. Why do we want those game on the line interceptions again, we got Dak who wont score TDs, but also wont throw game ending interceptions.

All the QBs that are being touted to replace Dak are either has-beens or QBs that never were. Either aging veterans who are in decline or journeyman/backups that are bouncing from team to team. Logging onto this board the past few weeks is like spending an evening at the laugh factory.
