lol.. Do you really want to play that game?

They lost 4 games all season.. He just won a Superbowl the year before.

Dak couldn't lead his team to a single touchdown in the biggest game of the year and went 2-7 against teams with winning records.
Brady is another year older too? He’s only going to regress. And he won’t have belicheck

They will overpay Dak because that's what all the other teams do..

Brady to the Cowboys would be fun and awesome and bring an energy to the team and fanbase that they currently lack.

Some other smart team will sign Brady.. We'll be the safe bunch.
Agreed, Brady to Dallas is definitely wacky and risky but it’s a bold move if nothing else and would definitely inject some energy. Dak has done all that has been asked of him, but he’s just another guy in this league and no one will care about him in three years if he’s even in the league at all.
What you are getting with Brady is between the ears at this point. We can still minimize his load and mask his weaknesses the same way we do with Dak with the line and the run game... the difference is when it’s winning time, we have one of the best to ever do it and not Dak chucking the ball helplessly at someone’s feet.

So? Risk it.. IF it fails draft someone. You aren't stuck in a longterm contract.

But what if it doesn't?

We just had Dak for 4 years on a cheap contract and that is when most of these young QB's have their success and with an elite roster Dak went 2-7 against teams with a .500 record or better.

Brady is potential greatness.. Signing Dak for elite money really doesn't do much but raise the question of how on earth do we find enough talent to win with this guy and his current salary.

When you lose against Miami and Tannehill in the same year, it's time to hang it up lol.

I'm just messing around.

If there's anything I take for value from SJ's mouth, is that they are serious about Dak.
They just move at a glacier pace when it comes to deals.

So, it's just hard to believe this is anything more than clickbait.

At worst he's Dak.

At best he's throw 35-40+ TD's.

The guy just lead his team to a 12-4 record and we act as if he's washed completely up.

He raises the bar for everyone from the top down and he is a proven leader that the players can listen to because he knows how to win a Lombardi.

When this team starts falling asleep at the wheel after a little success a guy like Brady is what is needed in that room.

If you want to stay mediocre then stay on this path of medicority.

I would rather attempt to be great or be terrible trying so we can get a high draft pick.

Brady in a dome and out of the cold behind our Oline, Zeke, and our WR's will help his cause too.

Dak... 2-7 against teams with winning records.. He needs too much around him to be successful.

I can buy that argument for one year, but that also means missing out on Dak for the next 5 to 10 years. Like I posted in a different thread, he's a top 10 QB in the league right now and just finished his breakout season. He's at about now where 2009 Romo was. For the sake of analogy, would you be willing to pass on four years of 2011-2014 Romo for a 1 year rental?

I'm fine missing out on Dak for the next 5-10 years lol.. We can find mediocre QB play anywhere.

I'd rather go big for Brady or even Brees if he is made available or go big in the draft and get a cheap QB for 5 years to build the rest of the roster like Superbowl winning teams do.

By any metric you want to look at, Dak is a lot better than mediocre. Don't bring up team wins as if they're a QB stat, you're better than that.

I don't really care about any of the metrics to be honest.

I know what Dak is because I watch the games. He's a slightly above mediocre player.

9 of his 30 TD's came against crappy teams in the first 3 weeks of the season. He had 4 more against a Washington team that was done in week 17.

Paying a guy like him like he has won a championship is silly and we keep comparing him to Goff, Wentz, and Wilson but the difference is their teams had success and then they got paid.

Now they are struggling to do much with those contracts.

Dak has so much help around him offensively and some of you just refuse to acknowledge it when it comes to arguing about his ability but are the first people to scream about something wrong with the team when it comes to our lack of playoff success.

The guy plays in the most optimal environment possible and his numbers are inflated because of it.

Give it 2 years. If it doesn’t work ,move on.

we’ve wasted 4 years with Dak and almost 10 years with Romo.

Yep

I’d be much more excited with Fat Mikey if we had Big Brady. Lol

Big Brady would lick his chops behind this OL and supporting cast.

All the Dak haters want 43 year old Brady starting. Big shock.

Paint with a broad brush much? Firstly, is there any chance of using another term other than the patented 16 year old girl word, "Haters"? Its hard to seriously converse with that drivel.

Secondly, Very few, if any Dakota realists, want anything to do with a washed up Quarterback like Brady. Most of us simply want to see some competition at the Qb position before 35-40 million is spent on Mr. Mediocre. There's a reason Rayne Dakota hasn't been signed to a contract by now. Not a big shock

Thank you. And I'm stealing this to use on FB too. Why doesn't this forum have a "love" button?

So you want to bring in Brady who has been stat padding in the worst division in football for years? Look at Brady’s record against winning teams lol. You make me laugh man. Even you can’t be this ridiculous

I think bringing in Brady would be dumb. Remember how bad Bledsoe was he literally got old overnight. Brady will do the same. One day he can make the throws and take the pounding then all of sudden he cant make throws and gets killed by a 300lbs DT.

Cowboys are a boring organization. Ever since Jimmy left I cant think of one innovative thing they have done.
