Dak thinks he is worth however much his agent can get for him. Why shouldn't he feel that way? The same was true for Zeke in 2019. Now use them correctly so these expenditures can be justified.
I'm aware you're unable to receive pm's, please know your being thought of. :)

He's a bristly character and he has me on ignore, but I care.
I'm paying attention and have high hopes for him. Because I want to have high hopes for him. He's a good man.
So are you Corso. At times we have to learn to put bristly attitudes aside being we never know what someone is going through/struggling with in their lives.

I replied so Joe would see your post. ;)

Why does she do that when we already know the answer to that question is NO? Is she just stirring the pot for attention?
That’s almost as funny as Goodell being worth 40M a year.

Prescott was then asked if he was planning on spending a lot of time in Frisco in the coming months, and he said he wasn't.

“Report that,” Prescott added. “Be sure to report that.”

I’ve had it with him. Inflated ego. Hasn’t accomplished a single thing. Good riddance.
That was discussed at length in here when the news broke last week.

Jerry's responses are always interesting to say the least.

For a guy who played with an injured shoulder on his throwing arm.

Good point... but if I recall correctly, He injured the shoulder in the Ram's game. At that point in the season, Dallas could only make the playoffs by beating the eagles. The only team they had to beat was philly. However, strategic genius Jason Garrett has Dak injured during the Ram's game. Dallas wins a meaningless game and then lost the playoff run to the eagles.

He said he don’t expect Wilson money because he hasn’t won a SB. But guessing he wants close to it. And his agent will push for it. But not 40. We will see mahomes get that. I would laugh if we see mahomes do like brady and play for 30 so they can sign players.

Each and every Prescott contract negotiation thread is proof of little-to-zero understanding about economics.

I remember at one point on this board people saying Dak is a team player

You can be a team player and still want to make as much as you can. Dude played his rookie contract out without a word of complaint. He's letting his agent negotiate for him. Remember, even Emmitt held out for more money. Now would I sign him for 40? No. But we don't know what the most the Cowboys offered was. We do know he turned down 33, but it might have been the other parts of that offered contract he didn't like.. we just don't know.

We'll see what happens.

Just apply the non-exclusive tag to him and allow him to test the market to see what his true value is then if a team signs him for more than Dallas wants to pay, accept the (2) 1st round draft picks and move on. Dallas simply cannot afford to allocate $35+ MIllion to a QB that is not a Top 10 QB.

40 mil is too much for a good, but not elite, quarterback. I would rather see the team let him walk and then draft a QB.

This is just another story blown way out of proportion. Dak was asked if he is worth $40 million. He didn't raise that number, the interviewer did. His non-answer was the smart answer. He is in negotiations, or his agents are. He is not going to say anything to undermine the negotiations. If he answered "yes", then it may put the Cowboys Front Office off thinking they may as well give up if that's what Dak wants. It could put off other teams as well, if he becomes a free agent. If he answers no, then he undermines his own position at the bargaining table. The smart answer is no answer. Let the two sides negotiate the deal in private.

His answer means nothing more than that. He is not indicating what he wants or what he is worth.

If I’m Jerry I tell Dak my final offer is 33 mill and he needs to sign by start of FA otherwise I’m signing Bridgewater at 25 mill and moving on

Call his bluff

no one else will even gives him 30
