It's Dak and 2 first round picks for the rights to draft Burrows in his proposal.

Doesn't view Dak that highly if he's including two firsts to get the first overall IMO.
ya my point is i guess that if he thinks that low of his QB why would a struggling franchise pass on arguably the best QB in the draft to get someone that is supposedly so bad. And that don't even take into account the cowboys who desperately need defense are going to give up 2 #1's and hitch their wagons to an unknown commodity and not be able to do anything on the defensive side. Unless he thinks they will outbid everyone in FA for precious commodities on that side of the ball. and if your giving up 2 #1's you don,t have many resources to bargain with. Now perhaps if Cincy was going to take 2021 and 2022 number 1s.

The Chargers will make the trade. Cincy can still get Herbert later on.

That said, the Chargers are penny pinchers who don't like paying 1st round picks!

Actually players can IIRC.

That's what La'el Collins camp was threatening teams with once he fell past the 3rd round, due to that allegation.
But since he went undrafted, he couldn't be eligible for the 2016 draft. If he was drafted, he could of not signed and re-entered the draft.

Still, draft picks are not mandated to sign with their respective clubs, and the drafting team does not hold the player’s rights in perpetuity. In theory, a player can hold out for the entire year and re-enter the draft in the following season. Even though NFL draft picks are boxed in by the slotting system and unable to choose their employer, they are not completely without leverage.

You could certainly be right, though the statements I've heard in the past conflict with that. I can't recall the sources, so I can't vouch for their veracity.

At this point though, I think I would try to get Brady and draft Herbert and let him learn under Brady a year or so.

Just because he thinks that low of Dak doesn't mean it isn't someone on the other end like yourself it seems that thinks Dak is the real deal. Duh. This isn't anything hard. Stop letting them emotions make, you say things that don't even make sense.

Yea, it hasn't happened, so it's hard to say for certain. Maybe I'll look into the CBA, but it's really a moot topic for the most part. Bengals would probably still draft him and trade him like the Chargers did with Manning.

I’ve been saying to close friends. I think the panthers make the move up. Rhule gets his shiny new qb

practice what you preach as you don't know what i think of dak really you can just speculate. Ill help you out though.I just dont believe hes our biggest issue in fact hes down the line. Now do i think hes worth 40 mil no but its not my money and i don't give a ****

I also dont believe paying him between 33-35 is going to hancuff this franchise. some of you guys want so badly to replace a guy who has won 2 division titles in 4 years led the league in passing and has improved every year. Oh and your teams GM has said over and over hes the guy but carry on with the nonsense jabber its rather amusing

Im being repeatedly told on CZ that Dak is a generational talent worth multiple first round picks. So I dont see why the Bengals wouldnt part with the #1 and a few other picks to acquire him?

We got Dak. Don't need Burrow. He'll be a bust.

I don't see it.. He can read defenses at a high level and he has the athleticism on top of that to scramble and even run for first downs.

He's got all the tools a modern QB needs. If he fails it will be because of situation.

You put him in an optimal environment like Dallas and he will go off.

And Cincy according to their trend and history, almost never trades their 1st round picks away.
Which if the rumors hold true that Cincy is inquiring about trading away the overall No.1 pick.
then behind the scenes the Joe Burrow camp may be purposely leaking vibes to the Cincy organization that Burrow has no interest in playing for them.

Already whispers are shooting around that teams like Miami, Chargers, Tampa Bay and Denver (all QB hungry teams) may have an interest in jousting for
that No.1 overall pick to get Burrow.
Another media tattle tale is saying watch out for the Raiders even more than those teams as they have multiple high picks in the early rounds to make their bid on Burrow,
and it's no secret that Gruden is not the biggest Derek Carr fan.

So they could making a bid for Burrow while at the same time, fishing Carr out to one of those aforementioned QB hungry teams.
NFL Draft day looks like its gonna really bring some stunning fireworks in blockbuster trades and maneuvers.
