Steelers offered a contract for 17 mil/season. He refused the contract and the tag and sat out a year, then signed for around 14 mil/season. He will never get that money back.

That's completely different from Dak. Dak didn't sit out.

This is just not even close.

Wentz is at $32 and signed before this year. That means Dak's floor is $33.

There is absolutely 0 reason for Dak to sign for anything less than $37-38 right now, especially with a new CBA coming that will increase the cap again.
32 is the sweet spot IMO and anyway... I believe the tie up right now is less about $ per year and more about guaranteed $ and total years.
