We have a lot of holes to fill on our defense but with an "unknown" happening with Dak,what if a QB falls to us. It has been said that Dak will hold out if he is tagged so things could get a little dicey in the near future.

So, if there is a top QB on the board would you pull the trigger and draft him?

I have no fantasy about Burrow or Tagovailoa falling but what if Herbert is there?

I like the kid, good size and some really nice stats but not sure I would want to gamble away Dak (as much as I do not want to pay him $40 million).

For me it would have to be getting the 2 1st rounders for Dak, if we can, I would do it, if not then no.

They would trade the pick for more picks or take the BPA. Personally, don’t see them taking a QB in the first round

I think it depends on who it is. If for something reason one of the best fell to us then grab him. Could start out as a back up and if he out plays Dak then ok.

But I am grabbing a DT. Or Safety. This should be a Defensive draft unless a top tier O-Lineman falls.

Jerry wants his 90's style triplets and he'll pay out of the ying-yang to get them. Dallas will adhere to both Dak's and Cooper's demands. So all of these "if" scenarios aren't happening. People need to wake up and realize its Jerry we're talking about. He hasn't changed since 1989. Triplets first, everything else second.

Most mocks have Herbert going to the Chargers at #6. They’ve already let Rivers hit free agency. Herbert is almost a lock at this spot

Other teams with varying amount of need at QB

#7 Panthers
#13 Colts
#14 Bucs

So, no, might as well wish for Tua to slip to 17

Don’t count the Pats out on doing something tricky to move up a bit to get a QB. While Love or Fromm will likely be there for them at #20, if they identify a guy they want, it would not surprise me one bit to see them make a move

Cowboys QB is going to be Dak. 99%

If they decide to tag Dak and lose their minds and decide to put 2020 team chemistry in the toilet by drafting a backup to groom as an eventual starter, you’re looking at guys like Jacob Eason (would not make it to the Cowboys in the 3rd round imo) or James Morgan.

Bottom line, it’s going to be Dak. I think he gets a contract even before they have to tag him.

It’s a deep draft for offensive line but the cowboys have invested heavily in both starters and backups up front and there is a very very low chance they spend a pick on oline in the first four or five rounds

What are you feeling. Mostly Defense. DT and Safety. Maybe a corner early if we are losing Jones.

I'm sitting at #17 looking at Derrick Brown or a QB? Really depends on the QB, but I'm leaning to take Brown and sign one of the plentiful veterans.

Even if I sign Dak I'll need a backup. And the vet will give Big Mc someone he can get going with if Dak holds out. I'm not going to let his threats decide what I do.

Remember, Jimmy Johnson used a first round pick on Steve Walsh, even though the team had just used the #1 overall pick on Aikman.
