We haven't actually seen what Jarwin is capable of... when he has shown promise, and his confidence was probably on the rise, he would ge ripped back down to doing nothing again.

I liked Witten, I am sure most Cowboy fans respect what he was. But, yeah... he does have to get out of the picture, for anyone to see what they have.

Jarwin stepped up and made big plays with limited opportunities. Athletic TE, idk why we wouldn’t want to give him more time on the field. If there’s a stud in the draft at the right spot then go for it but I’d still start Jarwin day one

Eric Ebron - 31rec -375yds - 12.1avg 48 lng TD's 3
Blake Jarwin - 31rec - 365yds - 11.8avg 42 lng TD' 3
It seems the only question mark is why did Jason Garrett let Witten come between getting Jarwin more targets
Ebron was hurt almost all year.

Ask for Wittens security pass back and put him on the "do not enter" list.

Let's set this kid free

I remember when questions marks where being raised about T.O. in S.F. They took a chance, let him start and he ended up having a hall of fame career.

All I'm saying is, give Blake a chance before we write him off. Because it normally takes TE's about three years before they start producing at a high level year in year out. This should be his year. I'm expecting pro bowl type of numbers from this guy next year.

I'd try to sign Eric Ebron and Richard Rodgers in FA. Draft a TE on day 3. Add those to Blake Jarwin, Dalton Schultz and Cole Hikutini and tell them only 3 make the 53. Let the competition begin.

Lmao what? Jarwin had just as good as numbers playing backup to the corpse Witten.

Jarwin is fine if he ever gets a real chance.

Cowboys TE Blake Jarwin Remains a Question Mark ?

February 15, 2020 - How much do the Dallas Cowboys need to upgrade the tight end position? It's an intriguing situation for the team because it has a lot of moving parts.

Try to extend him cheap. If he won't bite, get more serious about drafting a receiving TE high, and give him plenty of snaps from Jarwin.

Jarwin is not a guy we're going to sign in free agency. It's now or never.

Lol. The writer MAURICIO RODRIGUEZ of that column doesn't even look 20 years old. There is no question mark on Jarwin. Tired of seeing these good TE's getting put on the back burner because of Witten. Jarwin has nice run routes, good speed and his blocking picked up really good the more he was in the line up!

Dallas doesn't need a TE. Jarwin is their #1. If they get rid of him it would be a huge mistake!
From the standpoint that we have never seen Jarwin in the lead role there is still a question mark. Realistically it is different getting open and making an occasional nice play when you are mostly overlooked by the opposing defense, but when you are in the lead role you are game planned for and the defense is more aware of you.

Mind you, I'm not saying Jarwin can't fill the lead role, just that until he is in it and we see it then it isn't unreasonable to say there is still a question.

So then we are going to become a predominant passing team? Because Ebron doesnt block much better than Jarwin.

Not sure why we signed Zeke then.

Jarwin started in 2018 for around 6-8 games and him an Shultz did a decent job. Now after another year of experience and continuing to making plays, I think MM has to give #89 a chance. Although, I fully expect a vet to be signed in FA.

Didn’t he have his chance in 2018 to prove he was something special? I mean people are blaming Witten but I doubt the FO would’ve allowed Jason back if they thought they’d found his legitimate replacement.

Jarwin is average nothing more and is able to take advantage when he is an afterthought but put him as a starter and he’s just another guy. They need to be looking for a better solution.

He's been done a disservice by the Cowboy Organization...…..for Witt.
