Fake news since Bryant is included and isn’t even on the team. You don’t bring back players that burn the bridges on their way out of the door.
Wasn't Dez and Jerry hanging out together at a Beonce concert a few months after he was released?
Sure seems like a burned bridge..........

McCarthy already made his first stand when he was awarded the right to make all his own decisions on coaching.
;)

Yes, I remember a less cynical time when you could assume that people meant what they said.

So......McCarthy has a right to make his own decisions on coaching.....

What does that mean? He can hire who he wants as his assistants? Can he start whichever player he wants? Can he cut whichever player he wants?

Can he discipline a player at his discression?

Suppose he decides to change the policy concerning socks..... or even worse..... jocks.

You are telling me that Jerry Jones will stand ildley by?

McCarthy may have thought he made a stand. He didn't. However, he most certainly will be given the opportunity to make that stand as soon as Jerry begins to violate that agreement.... Which should happen sometime around any day now.

Pretty straight forward. It means exactly what I said. He was given autonomy to hire the coaching staff.

There's a new era of Dallas Cowboys football coming in 2020. For the past 10 seasons, it was all about the right kind of guys (RKGs) under former head coach Jason Garrett. If Garrett liked a player...

its the offseason. ALSO, the lyin season. lol. Nothing that gets said or written in these articles mean much. THEY are predictive and have little staying power. Lets just wait and see what happens after the draft. I am eager to see how MM handles the scouting combine and am hoping to see if we can read the tea leaves a little. Based off his players he wanted in GB..I think we may expect some thugs on the interior dline and he DOES value db/safety much higher than the last regime did. DO NOT RULE OUT A HIGH END WR OR TE AT 17. But looking at his history. He loves drafting WR in rounds 2-3. I like the Bama wr Devonta Smith in round 2. He has more yards and TD'S than Ruggs and jeudy. He's the guy at BAMA that gets no love. He may be the best WR of that group. watch out for Devonta Smith at pick 51. A ABSOLUTE STEAL.

Dallas & some fans need stop living in the past. Rest assured, none of Dez' past td's, Witty' vast collection of catches, or Lee’s interception highlights are going to help our Boys in 2020. Out with ALL of the old. It's a new era for Dallas.

I think Lee has some usefulness and can contribute very well, but the more I think about it the more I'm in favor clearing those boys out of here. New coach, new guys...fresh start.

I would not sign any of them at all. let them go and start over with the players that mccarthy wants not the ones from garrets teams. the veterans that are still under contract need to understand that it is new start with a new coach and change the culture of this team.

He couldn’t wait to run his mouth about coaching and teammates after he was released. If you want an awkward locker room then sign the clown.

I didn't realize he made Jerry invite him. I guess he forced Jerry to show up also?
Point is he obviously didn't burn any bridges since the only bridge that matters is owned by Jerry Jones.

its simple, you offer vet minimum to lee. you don't even touch Bryant, his goose is cooked, he is a locker room and side line cancer and his skills werent' great to begin with, now at 32, and after a ruptured achilles, he should balk up and play OL (LOL)…...and you let witten go.

why is that so complicated?

Lee, Dez, and Witten would all have to be willing to compete for a spot. Right now I think Dez could kick another 1 trick pony off the squad, Tavon. Lee is a good spot starter but sucks playing limited snaps. Witten is a bigger slower Beasley in this offense, but somehow gets open.
