From reports from front office people around the league, Dallas thinks much more of Dak than the rest of the league.
there was a report last week that during the season Jerry was constantly asking the coaching staff "is Dak the guy?" so, maybe they aren't as sold on him as they publicly display.

I just don't get why people say Wentz and Goff are better than Dak. Not on paper they're not.

Thank God the games are played on paper. And our offensive stats this year put us in the Super Bowl. And Dak’s stats led to him being the game’s MVP. Oh, wait...

You didn't quote him but i will quote you and i'm so glad you've taken up the mantle of "Spelling Police" on this site...at least you seem to be competent in that regard
It was a correct spelling but not appropriate definition for the way he used it, so I’m not the spelling police.

One thing I am is the punctuation police and capitalization police. You didn’t capitalize your “I” either time you used it nor did you did you use a period after regard. Sadly you seem to be incompetent in both regards.

Thanks for stopping by to complain once again, I missed you complaining about people complaining. I knew you couldn’t stay away, I just didn’t think it would be such a short period of time.

P.S You should have paid more attention in English class ;)

I'd say if Dak goes to another team and they give us two 1st round picks then that is a trade an amazing one for us, but still a trade.
Who would be our QB? The draft is a total crapshoot for QB’s unless it’s one of the top two or three in the class

Nice try you corrected him on the spelling of the word "pray" in the context in which he used it...like i said earlier it's a good thing your good at that because you know absolutely nothing about football, though you do try hard, keep up the good work! ;)

P.S. Show me where i was complaining? I re-read my post and it's looks to me like all i was doing was complimenting you on that hard work you put in being the "spelling police" on the forum. Not one complaint in the entire post. Did you fail reading class back when you were in school? if you did i can hook you up with a good tutor..send me a pm!

There's wiggle room with that non-exclusive tag. Just because it technically says "two 1st round picks" doesn't mean that's what a team would have to give up. They can negotiate with him and make an offer for less than that. Then it's up to the Cowboys to either accept that offer or decline it.

That's a viable play. Line up a vet pending the trade.

Even two firsts are possible. Not all firsts are created equal. Some perennial playoff team in need could do it. We traded a 1st for a WR, and at the time it was looking like a mid 1st. There's one born every minute.

Some high quality vets available this year. If Cooper is signed, our offense is a nice looking destination for a QB.

I know people will think I am crazy but there are just too many suitors in the draft that you could contact now and have them lined up for Dak. The best is probably the Dolphins because of immediate help and the picks. Do they just go with a possibly redshirted Tua or will they pay their 3 1sts for a Pro Bowl level QB sure thing? Until we actually know the market and have heard it I think it is silly to dismiss. This is the ONE year where as the Cowboys you are not screwed to look around and still have Dak there to sign anyway. I think the onus should be on getting Amare and Byron (if you want to) done now. I am not for getting rid of Dak but Brady (discount 3 years), Gronk (maybe), Edelman (maybe), Tua, and two other 1sts is a lot better. Cincy and San Diego can be used to drive up the price because of all the sure things top picks are who are you valuing more Dak or Burrow or Tua. At least someone prove to me it is crazy and I am not a Dak hater and I understand the difference between a signed player and one that is not. All of these teams can easily absorb Dak just like we can into the cap on a long term deal. Whole draft after QB could be D for 3-4

My god, are you this dense? Look up the difference between pray and prey, then look up how he used it then re read what I said. Come on, you can figure this out.

I would never take a recommendation for a tutor from someone who doesn’t even capitalize their I’s. Also, when starting a sentence it should begin with the first letter capitalized. Your tutor should find another line of work.

Directly from your post, #112, in the Prescott thread.

“I absolutely love guys who complain about threads and what they are about as if somebody is sitting with them at their computer pointing a gun at their head and forcing them to read the thread and all the posts. You have the choice to read or not read the threads, if the subject of a thread bothers you that much don't read it, it's not very complicated. As for starting your own threads by all means do it, start as many as you like, the same way many others around here do. I for one will choose whether to read it or not but i won't whine and complain about it. I wonder if that guy you went to high school with (some guy named Staubach) would wind and complain like you do!”

Sure seems like you’re complaining to me. It’s ok, so do I as do most people on this site, I’m just not a hypocrite about it. Also, to find that quote I had the unfortunate experience of having to scroll through your first page of posts, sure seems like you absolutely do like to complain in the form of attacking other peoples opinions.

Oh i see so now you are talking about another post completely different from the one you quoted me on. LOL, but ok i will go with that, there is not one word in that post above that shows me complaining about you, it only shows me commenting on your complaing about too many Dak threads and my opinion on what you should do about it, see the 1st bolded part? that's called advice not complaining. Sure you don't want that tutor info i offerred to help you with your reading disorder? just send me a pm.

Now as for your post # 120 in this thread
"I’m sorry, did I quote you? No, no I didn’t and I’m not referring to the non exclusive tag, I’ve seen several people say they think we could get two firsts for him with no mention of the tag.

Also, I’m not a jesus person and it’s pray and not prey. Does that make sense?

No need to thank me, you’re welcome. Have a nice day, sounds like you could use it."

Sure seems to me and i'm sure most reading that post, that you were correcting the poster on his use of the word pray and how he did not spell hit correctly when he spelled it prey. Now the poster was talking about praying and he used the word prey, so yes he used the incorrect word. Now how did you correct him? by pointing out that the word he needed to use was pray and not prey, and you did that by showing him the correct spelling of the word. Then you used that nice condesending tone of yours at the end, you know that tone you use when you are talking down to people. Not really complicated at all

So you purposely don’t like to capitalize some letters because why? What’s your opposition to using periods at the end of sentences? Is your keyboard broken or do you really have a bad tutor?

You said “show me where I was complaining”. You didn’t specify what thread it had to be in and please don’t try to convince me you weren’t talking about me when you quoted my statement to use as an example.

Anyways, this is becoming pointless. I normally don’t put people on ignore unless they become incredibly bothersome or are so ignorant they can’t debate or disagree logically, you fit every category.

You’re clearly trolling me because I hurt your feelings in the Dak thread so you felt you would vindicate yourself by quoting me in another thread, in response to my comment to someone else that had nothing to do with you.

For those reasons, it’s time to say goodbye and block you, I’ve killed enough time and brain cells trying to converse with you.

Go Cowboys :flagwave:

In order to kill brain cells you need to have them to begin with and thanks again for the grammer correction. Are you chief of the "Spelling and grammer police" around here? If not you should be, you got my vote. I'm not trolling you i just decided to hand your BS back to you on a nice silver platter, clearly you don't like it and must be very thin skinned

I'm all for non-exclusive or transition tag at this point. Regardless which one the FO uses, they need to spend at least a 3rd if not higher on the QB position this yr IF plausible. While not a popular decision, I'd love to see say a 2nd used on a prospect like Eason or even Fromm IF available. Yes, it hurts the defense yet again. But, as a fan I'm used to it at this point, and at least it shows they're TRYING to rectify the most important position, not just looking for the next throw away back-up

Would trading Dak Prescott help the Cowboys chances to win the Super Bowl. Or, would paying him a contract averaging more than $30 million get them closer?...

Seeing the contract numbers while simultaneously looking at the photo of Dak on the ground makes me want to debate

In a non exclusive franchise tag if a team signs him they owe 2 1st round picks. There isn't negotiating for that. That's why the Cowboys do that and hope a team goes for him. Also, reading the post here it appears to some posters he's worth 10 1st round picks.

I don't see anyone dropping 2 picks on Dak. We might at best get a 2nd because of Dak's body of work and his salary demands.
