I wouldn't.

I mean, not because I'm not for sale. Anyone would be for enough cash. If someone offered me say, $10 million I'd want to say yes. Football is not a big thing, not as big as taking care of my family.

But even if it's not a big thing, it's part of me. I grew up in Dallas, I grew up a Cowboys fan, my father worked for the team. It's a piece of me. You can throw money at it but I'll lie and cheat and just come back to it.

I can't sell it, it's not mine to sell. It's me. I can't get rid of it anymore than I can get rid of being a Texan, or a guy that likes Led Zeppelin.

It's an impossible equation.

Once my Dad splits the scene on earth, my interest may dwindle some. Cowboys football the only thing i really have in common with him.

CowboysZone ULTIMATE Fan
If Jerry would have signed a specific player I would quithave being a fan of the team until he was gone. Thankfully they did not sign the player and the player has retired. Not going to say who it was.

A change in the uniform could ruin it for me . If for some reason the star came off the helmet and was replaced with something else Im done its not the Cowboys anymore

I got 49 years in. It would have to be life changing amount for me.....say $80 million.

I could never watch, hear, read and discuss a Cowboys game ever again.

What's your price?
Less and less every year.

Less and less every year that goes by. :(. btw, I've been a fan since 1968. The last 20 years haven't been easy.

The Cowboys organization would never be the reason. If anything it would be the NFL continuing to water down this great game through rule changes and inconsistent officiating, additionally their continued obsession in immersing themselves into social causes and choosing sides through their endowments is the last thing I want to see. Keep it about sports.

I wont give examples because of forum rules.

If I can live through the craziness of the last 25 years of Garrett and Romo and Quincy carter and campo years and now we’ll see about this current regime I think I can live through anything

perhaps watching the Cincinnati bengals winning a Lombardi before us just might do it

just kidding I’m too old to give up now

It probably sounds like hyperbole, but I'm not sure who I am if I'm not a Cowboy fan. Even if I gave up watching the games, I'd still be rooting for the Cowboys. My earliest memories are of me and my dad watching the games. Those were the bright times in an otherwise dark childhood. My wife and I seriously considered naming our son Emmitt....but my last name is Kelley. I still visit this site several times a day despite y'all constantly arguing over who's the best QB like kindergartners arguing over who has the toughest dad.

I'd take life-altering money to quit watching and following the Cowboys, but I wouldn't have the ability to not be a fan.

Same here, been a fan since they beat the Dolphins in the Super Bowl. $80 million sounds about right. It would have to be a life changing amount, for sure.

I agree with most of the fans....it's definitely in the DNA Hard to put a price on that.

I'm also a long time fan (44 years). Not sure I could just stop being a fan no matter what's at stake!! Although 80 million dollars could possibly sway me. LOL :p
