In a related question, do you guys think I should eat a steak tonight? Or a piece of poo? Best in mind, the poo is way cheaper.

I think it’s pretty obvious. Anybody got a breath mint?

If the steak impedes your ability to pay rent or mortgage, eat a hamburger..........just don't pay steak prices for hamburger......this is what we are saying

My only want is to improve the team. My loyalty is not with Dak. That said if we are to have an honest discussion about Dak why would you leave out his 13-3 season? 2/4 seasons he has helped us to the playoffs. When you leave out his most successful season it screams of agenda.
no its not its what have you done recently and hes in descension mode it shows a good comp to a journeymen with good team around them can do as well as dak..F stats and numbers we are simply talking about end results,, rookie time is over if you are regressing from 13-3 to 8-8 and now want elite money, its the truth, reality check, NOT agenda..

good try though, im no hater but I know we can do 8-8, 9-7, and maybe 10-6 with a cheaper QB..2016 is a long time ago and 35mil has left the building..

agenda or you are wearing koolaid goggles..lol:facepalm::muttley:

If Daltons available to trade for a 5th, go for it. Take another QB in the first round this year.

All of a sudden we've got a much better QB room, and at a much cheaper price.

NO different teams and siations..

I said Here with Zeke/Pollard, the oline , and a rebuilt D and ST with a better HC..look what keenum did with MN. similar situation 10-6 and the playoffs..yu can keep making excuses for dak and be comfortable handing him the keys and 35mil, im saying I am NOT.. sign for 30-33 6yr team friendly deal and im in.. 4yrs at close to 34-35 HECK NO!!

Andy Dalton hasn’t passed for more than 3494 yards and 25 TDs the past three seasons. He was benched last season and had a passer rating of 78.3. He has a career passer rating of 87.5 and has an 0-4 playoff record. He’ll either be traded or kicked to the curb and replaced by a rookie QB. No thanks!

Andy Dalton chokes in the playoffs.

Did you watch him play in the playoffs? He was absolutely horrific in the post season and a major reason the Bengals didn’t win any playoff games.

If you want a team that can actually have a chance to win playoff games. Dalton is not the guy.

Dalton numbers in 4 playoff games:

55% completion. 1 TD. 6 INT. 5.5 yards per attempt. 57 passer rating.

Dalton was HORRIFIC in the playoffs. And mind you those stats are put up while playing on teams that were obviously good enough to make the playoffs o begin with.

Dak has been much much better in the playoffs. It isn’t even close.

short term one year while grooming another young player..to me yes..might be worth it gives us money for some big time day one FAs to put around them..

Short term Im ok with, but like I first said I need a promising young stud on deck to like that move. Worst case scenario is parting with Dak and going back to the Quincy Carter / Chad Hutchinson type days. This team can be really good I dont want to waste it. If we are looking at short term Id rather make a legit play for Brady or Rivers.

Unless it were for Mahomes or possibly Russell Wilson, I don't think any team would give up 2 firsts for a QB.
Well they did for Carson Wentz but they got the first back by Trading Stafford I think his name was
