All those QB's will get around 30 million or over. That is what he is saying.

I always liked Tannehill.

Tannehill this year once again showed that Gase is a bona fide scrub coach and that once players get free from him they will shine.

Hey, let's be stupid..er by getting rid of proven and still improving Dak in his prime... and instead draft a rookie while hoping he won't be a bust (which is very likely) while wasting this current roster's players that are still in their prime.
Pay Dak, just not 30-35 mill a year. 25-27/yr I can live with but even that is rough to pallet.

Who was the QB for the Saints that beat us last year? Was that Teddy Bridgewater?

Who was the QB of the Colts who beat the Chiefs last year? Was that Jacoby Brissett?

I heard the Chiefs called the Colts offering Pat Mahomes for Jacoby straight up.

Colts looked at their wins last year, saw that Jacoby beat Pat and hung up the phone

Football historians will look back in 100 years and laugh at the idea that folks thought the only way to a championship was to not pay the QB.

Well, owners can simply take a stand and say sorry but I am not going to pay that kind of money for a QB...or DE....or LB...or RB.

Sometimes a team has to be more creative than just to do what everyone else is doing.
new england is a team that has been doing that, but they win so much they dont get any good draft picks

That’s crazy what Goff got.

However, it’s simply the QB market. Solid QBs, not elite guys going to make over 30+ (Dak, Tannehill, Teddy etc).

Nothing you can do about it.
Yeah there is. Get someone better and cheaper. How difficult is that?

At this point, I can't wait until this gets resolved one way or the other. I just want a top 3 defense (again), somewhere in my future.

Yep........and that is the thing that the QB challenged trolls dont get. Its simply the QB market. EVERY team that isn't paying 30 million plus for a top 10 QB wishes they were. ONLY teams basking in the glory are the guys with studs still on their current rookie deals.
So.... Your saying all we have to do is pay Dak 30++ million per year then we would bask in glory?

Right but it would have to be basically all the owners taking a stand to set market rates for players...which is basically collusion. At any rate, if you have a great player, there is an owner out there who is willing to break their bank for that player.
Well you have to sometimes let that other owner be stupid. Surely won't change if every owner just simply gives then what they want whenever the opportunity comes about

Aww, might be time to go follow the Dolphins, Jaguars, Cardinals, etc of the NFL. Those are the teams that pay their QBs so low.
Sorry... what does Patrick Mahomes make again??? " Patrick Mahomes' net worth is estimated at $10 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. The Kansas City quarterback was only earning $555,000 a year as a rookie. This year his base salary rises to $645,000 and is expected to rise every year.". Yes he will make muuuuch more when his contract is up but then they won't be able to keep his pieces around him and if you think Dak is anywhere near the qb mahomes is, your on some really strong drugs. Dak needs pieces around him. He is NOT a transformational qb. His record before Amari got here is a perfect example and also when Cooper disappeared. That says right there that the team needs to keep enough money to keep pieces around him and you cant do that by paying Dak 30-35 million. Sorry... I like Dak but he is not that guy.
