Runny, my man, it helps to think that everything is in constant change. Even leaving the living room to go to the bathroom, I do not expect the couch to be in the same place upon my return. OW!! Now, who put this here?

One thing we talked about doing and should have done more than talk was take the fall foliage in that part of New England. Everytime I see that in a flim, I just stop and take that in, what a glorious living painting. Every part of this country has something to stop and just drink that in until your need for beauty is full.

I guess I've gotten jaded over the years. All I see are the bare branches under those colorful leaves, as harbingers of winter.

Guess that's like springtime down here, the greenery and blooms are short lived and Hell is waiting to show up.

But be of good cheer, better than living in that swamp Florida with year round bugs.

Your winter is what balances out my summer. I see the temp posted by Jan or Colo or you dealing with NYC traffic and that makes me complain less. However, ole Leon down there having his cup of coffee and watching the ocean, naaaaaaah, I am going to ***** a lot.

Yeah, Leon's starting to piss me off!

Afternoon Pops and everyone.

Clinging to a narrow and unraveling thread trying to get through this week.

I get to meet with my lender next week to work on final loan approval...finally. Funny...my siblings think because I'll now have extra room that I get to be the candidate that has mom (and her 30+ cats) move in with her. Yeah...that ain't happening. Couldn't pay me to take that on.

C'mon Friday...mid 40's for the weekend and toeing the edge of 50 for the next week.

That picture was taken from a No Kill Kitty shelter. The green plant is catnip which kitty's get high from. It's posted on one of the walls from a shelter I volunteer.

It's Friday Morning so we are in sight! Hope everybody is well today. I'm heading out soon to Colorado with the Family to go snowboarding so not a lot of time today. Welcome to Friday everybody!

Hopefully, it will be a great weekend for all. If I'm not back by Wed. or so, you know I've fallen off the Mountain. Everybody, have a great weekend and go do something that makes you happy!

As another weekend approaches, there is more snow forecast for the high country and front range. I read somewhere recently that this has been the most snow on record for February. @ABQCOWBOY, where are you going snowboarding and, more importantly, hope you have a 4WD vehicle.

@daboyzruleperiod, love the cat poster. I suspect that if I was not around, my wife would go full-on "crazy cat lady". Funny thing about catnip is how it affects cats differently. Our 13 year old tabby, who otherwise is fully retired, goes completely ape-s$$$ around catnip. The two backup cats show no real effects at all.

I like your Yin and Yang approach to weather, CC:. Our cold weather balances out your summers. The immediate imagery that comes to mind is me standing the frozen wall on Game of Thrones, while you're guarding the gates of hell (at least, that is the way I remember Texas summers).

@GrammaJan, good luck with your lender. If he or she breaks into a Don Corleone impression, run for the hills.

And, finally, @RGV_C_Los, glad you are enjoying your post-retirment job. Although I love my part-time job as a scuba instructor, the best part is that, if either of the owners pi$$ me off, I could walk away without a second thought.

Brother Colo, headed to Monarch, haven't been there in a few years so should be a good time! Own 6 trucks, all but the 55 is 4 Wheel Drive! Taking the Yukon this weekend, it sits 8 so that will help with our pack! LOL........
