umm all those players considered Elite in their postions..Houston gave up two firsts and a second for Tunsil.
Rams gave up two firsts for a year and a half of Jalen Ramsey.
The Bears gave up two firsts for Mack and immediately made him the NFL's highest paid defender.
They're not even QBs.
Teams would be lining up around the block to give us two first rounders for Dak.
What if they both end up picks #30 and #29?Take two 1st's for Dak? I'd have to agree, yes I would accept two firsts for Dak.
I would rather have Dak than two firsts. Two firsts means absolutely nothing with the bust %.
umm all those players considered Elite in their postions..
Newsflash, DAK IS NOT ELITE within his position. Sorry reality check needed..those types of players are typically not on the block but when teams like the Rams want to OVER pay to get them, thats on them but at least they are elite.. Daks more like Amari 2nd tier and will not get 2 firsts maybe a first and a 3rd MAX,..the FT sates TWO FIRSTS are required plus 35 short deal Dak is demanding.
WAKE UP BRO.. you arent looking at this with perspective not Fandom..
good lets do it show me the teams..I guess you're saying that Johnny Hekker is worth two first round picks then?
Look at the actual market values. Mack got $22M a season from the Bears. Top tackle money right now is $17M, top CB money is $15M or $16M, both Ramsey and Tunsil could easily reset those markets, but I don't see them crossing $22M.
Dak could get $30M on the open market right now without blinking. Garappolo got $27M a year after starting 8 games for San Francisco, and that was two years ago.
If teams are willing to give up two first rounders for a $22M player, they will absolutely give up two firsts for a $30M player.
good lets do it show me the teams..
If im a GM I for sure NON Exclusive tag Dak and let the deals roll in..30 no dak wants 35 and short deal..if the jackleg would take 30 hed be signed already.. Why isnt he? if hes a surefire elite talent and worth all this investment, why is his own team not jumping on it?? come on waiting...… jerry and Stephen are NOT CXHEAP when it comes to star talent , this is on Dak not them..
btw still not the same 2 firsts and Dak wants 35 over 4 yrs thats not a deal teams jump all over.. hed be signed here if he took 33 over 6 years..hes the reason hes not signed and teams can see that.. they wont be jumping all over those deals..
I cant wait to see this unfold..the DC would be smart to put that tag on him to show Dak and his agents whats the true market for his talent..im ready i want him to seek offers..the Dak droolers will be exposed..
again you are thinking like a fan not a GM and not in the realm of reality..
Please line them up. There is NO team giving up 2 firsts for Dak, I doubt there is a team that will give a first.Houston gave up two firsts and a second for Tunsil.

The Dolphins would likely do it. Tua's got a screwed-up hip and Herbert's risky - they'd gladly give us #18 and #24 to secure their franchise QB, then spend #5 on a stud like Okudah.
Raiders - same deal, 2 firsts, they could get out of Carr's deal for $7M dead money.
Colts - 2 firsts to get out of Brissett land, this year's #13 is way outside of quality QB range anyway.
Panthers - look to be locked out of the QB sweepstakes this year, instant fix for life after Cam.
Buccaneers - easy fix to their QB issues with a lot more reliable QB than Jameis. It'd only cost them #15 this year and they probably wouldn't be any lower than that next year with Dak.
Denver is a dark horse? Andrew Lock looked good to end the year but Dak's got a far longer track record.
All of those teams have enough draft capital to pull a deal off, and AFAIK, they have the cap space to give Dak a $35M yearly deal. So there's 6 realistic options, and it'd only take one to get Dak taken from us.
What if they both end up picks #30 and #29?
I would hope, but no one here is clarifying. They all just say 2 1st rounders.Gotta have better than 29 and 30.

Well what if the trading team is damn good, or near good? And good the next year?
Well, if we get rid of Dak, we'll be picking top 5!!!!!!!What if they both end up picks #30 and #29?
Betcha the Colts would take that deal w/o a 2nd thought. We might even be able to get more. There is not one team that will offer two first round picks for Dak....yet you think you just came up with 6 'realistic' scenarios. lol
It's obvious some people live in an entirely different reality. It's really unbelievable
If we started a bidding war, we might get 3 firsts. Possible. The Dolphins would likely do it. Tua's got a screwed-up hip and Herbert's risky - they'd gladly give us #18 and #24 to secure their franchise QB, then spend #5 on a stud like Okudah.

Three 1st's?? Wow. Now that would be a VERY intriguing situation. But I'm not going to hold my breath. If we started a bidding war, we might get 3 firsts. Possible.
Den, Car, TB, all need a QB desperately. Among others.Three 1st's?? Wow. Now that would be a VERY intriguing situation.
