With the number of concussions he has had, I would say he is done or should be done with football.

he needs to look around at players always hurt and see what that will cost him later before he decides how much money it's worth to continue.

With the CTE lawsuits and player safety in question the NFL should not allow him to play anymore given his history.

WHEN he's healthy, he's damn good TE. If you OK with Jarwin as your starter, he could be a good back-up.

JORDAN REEDTE, WASHINGTON Commanders

The Athletic's Ben Standig reports Jordan Reed has been cleared from the league's concussion protocol.
Reed's latest concussion — his seventh in as many seasons in the league — sidelined him for the entirety of the 2019 season after he took a nasty hit from Falcons safety Keanu Neal in an exhibition contest. Standig adds that while Reed himself fully expects to be released by Washington in the coming days, he's told those close to him that he intends on continuing his career and playing elsewhere next season. 30 in July, Reed's inevitable release will free up $8.5 million in cap space. The Bills are an intriguing landing spot after recently bringing in Greg Olsen, who has since put pen to paper with Seattle, for a visit.

Another wannabe scout offers up a player that has had SEVEN concussions and who is still not been cleared to play by the NFL after missing the ENTIRE 2019 season because of his last concussion. Is there somebody's grandmother you would also like to suggest while you're at it?

He's only played 19 games the past three seasons. Are we desperate to fill an IR spot?

Missed all of '19 due to a bad concussion while having 6 prior but wants to continue playing?! Goodell needs to step in.

I said this a while back and had a couple of posters called it ridiculous. The NFL cannot promote a culture of safety and allow guys like Reed to endlessly put themselves at risk. The two just do not mesh.

We don't give a crap about these players after they retire - how many of you have checked in on Marion Barber or Anthony Spencer lately? - but the players themselves have their whole lives ahead of them.

For Reed, I hope he calls it quits before he ends up like Mike Webster, living homeless on the street with dementia in his 50s. Heck, after all those concussions, he may already be there. But he has little to gain with a cheap 1 year deal and a lot to lose over the rest of his life. Call it a day, man.

He'd be crazy to continue to play. Just go and take care of yourself dude.

Get out, while he can remember what he did 5 minutes ago. I hope. Game not worth it. Once a concussion, they come easier and frequently.
