No idea why I thought that said Antonio brown lol...but I think we should...good backup and can start if necessary. Unless he wants starter money, then he can kick rocks

Dallas should re-sign Brown. He's experienced and will be a lot cheaper than Byron Jones.

But the Cowboys should still target a corner in the draft.

but you're not getting anything near close as a productive coverage guy with Brown as a replacement for Byron.
in fact, neither Brown or Jordan are suitable replacements as starting CBs on the outside, imo - far better suited inside as slot/3rd CBs
But coming of a torn chest muscle, that's likely to go as more rehab into mid-camp, he's not gonna be ready to contend for a starting spot for other NFL teams ...

yes, another cheap, one year deal would be sufficient with a Brown return. For depth and game experience purposes only.

LOL this place

Brown is a scrub, that's why he'll be cheap. Jones is a top 15-20 corner, which is why he'll get paid good money.

LOL that "this place" has people you.

Brown is a solid player. He would have gotten a much bigger contract than most fans would expect if he didn't get injured. Probably at least 8M per if not injured. He is better than many players that started at CB in the NFL last season.

With the injury it might be mid-season before he is really ready. A 1 year low dollar contract. Maybe incentives based on playing time.

Yeah if Byron goes we almost need to resign him. But I’ve heard a 1-year deal as the most floated around and I like that honestly.

No question the Cowboys should sign Brown. And another FA CB as well. In addition to drafting one in the 1st or 2nd round. Maybe another on day 3.

Absolutely, they were a better defense when he was healthy and on the field. This is a no brainer.

Resigning Brown is up to the coaching staff. I hate it when fans think their opinion matters.

Speed means alot at corner so youth helps. i would trade down often in the draft and find depth at many holes we have.

I don't see why not. Is he asking for a ton of money? I thought he was halfway decent.

He needs to throw some Dez-like workout videos on Twitter and then I will see.
