I wish Dez would come back to Dallas, but if he goes to Kansas City, great for him and the Chiefs too. Any team in the AFC who can squash the Patriots and Steelers is a team I can support.

KC needs to pay Mahomes and to do that will probably ask Sammy Watkins to take a huge pay cut or just cut him outright..........If they do the latter , you can bet Dez will get a shot with the Chiefs if the Cowboys are uninterested.........................

First off, if he is trying to come back to Dallas, he will need Dak throwing the ball. Mahomes throwing it is an unfair assessment of what would happen in Dallas.
Second... Dak said he was taking his ball and going home, until he has a contract... so, won't see that.

Facts! Mahomes is the type of QB Dez needs if he's gonna have a successful comeback.
This is probably true.

Mahomes is like Romo in many respects.

He dodges the pass Rush, finds open receivers even with narrow throwing lanes just like Romo's old style.

But the Cowboys want Dak to be a pocket passer first even though it's not his best asset.

We all know that. So does Dallas and dispite that, they want Dak to succeed.

The WCO under McCarthy is definitely the answer to saving Dak and to preserving the Jones decision to stick with him.

It's a wise move. But will it succeed?

Well...they say their leaving the system as is instead of an overhaul to the WCO I believe. Hence KM remaining the OC, so the players won't have to learn a new system.

Now I'm looking at this approach sideways because they have a SB winning HC/OC not calling the plays...only in Dallas.

I think a true WCO based offense would suit Dak pretty well, but we'll just have to see.
