Kinlaw or trade down

If Kinlaw is there you take him. If not, you find a trade partner and move down. This draft looks top heavy foe elite players. but loaded with starting caliber players through the 3rd rd. Pick 17 can easily be turned into 2 starters in a trade down.
I don’t trust our braindeadtrust to make two good lower-round picks instead of a can’t miss player at 17. Well, we could mess that up too so why not.

The problem for me is always Henry Ruggs and do you want to pass on him and watch him go to Philly.

I think if Chaisson is there I would make the pick as well. To much upside at a premium position to pass on.

If we're drafting one of these safeties then I think moving down is a must.

Everything depends on Kinlaw medical. He has 2 bad knees already..& what Dallas does in FA ..if we sign Snacks Harrison or a Reader we prob wont go DT

Tend to agree, but someone has to be willing to move UP for something, and what may that be?

From what I see, if Kinlaw is gone I want and extra 3rd or 4th the way this WR class looks.

Again though, takes two to tango.

But in theory I'm right there with you.

I'd be terribly disappointed w either of those safeties at 17.

Would you take Espensa there if Chaisson is gone too?

I think we're going to be pleasantly surprised with our options at 17.

This draft is solid at OT and with the QBs and WRs going early I like our chances at a good defender.

Man I’m not a fan of Espenesa unless the board is just obliterated..

I think I might go Delpit > Espenesa > McKinney

I think what happens in FA is going to go a long way toward what happens at 17.

If we drop some $ on the S position...and I sure hope they do, I doubt they go that way at 17.

I cant see all the edge guys and Kinlaw as being gone. I just really dont want either one of the top S there. I'm more intrigued w the next rung of guys honestly.

Of course they could simply decide they are set with Woods and Heath, but I'm hoping the folks that tell the Joneses how great the players are when they really arent are no longer around.

Not even just Ruggs but Im not convinced Lamb has no chance to be there at 17. Teams looking for WR's may favor other positions at the top because its such a deep class. Lamb is a top 10 talent IMO

LOL. Keep posting this. Maybe we can convince the teams picking ahead of Dallas Kinlaw is damaged goods and he drops into the Cowboys laps. But I am not buying this until the combine medical exams are completed. If he gets a grade of 4 or 5 he is not going to drop. And btw, if he gets a worse grade than that, I am not sure I want the Cowboys to take him at 17. Ron Leary fell out of the draft because of a degenerative knee issue.

I think he skipped the Senior Bowl to avoid possible injury after wowing scouts after 2 days of practice. I think the tendinitis of the knee was not as serious as it sounded. But as you say, we shall see.

I would actually trade up for Kinlaw ,he is a slam dunk kinda player .If his knees check out i would trade a 2nd Rd pick to move up to get him.He is the missing piece on our D and players like these dont get to FA.

there has been rumors going around that he has a serious knee problem,i personally am skeptical about the rumors but the Combine check up should clear it up.
