He is 27 years of age. He has not reached his ceiling. He was the best player on our offense last year. Not Zeke or Cooper.

......and we finished 8-8.......didn't beat anyone good.......Dak feasted on the Giants......Skids......Miami......... have you learned anything or are you concluding that we should increase Dak's salary 85x, role with what got us 8-8 last year, and smoke some hopium.

I'm fine with my compensation skills troll probably little smarter than you are. I have a tendancy when I read some people's post i don't pay them that close attention.

You also gain and lose leadership skills by being a team player not a greedy one. Do you realize Daks great leadership I mean greed can cost him other players that might make Dak not the same player he could be.

You made that edit just in time.

Gary, you're better off not discussing anything with the guy. His MO is to insult you or your intelligence and as soon as you reply tit for tat, he'll scream about you insulting him and threaten you with a timeout.

Just remember you can't be responsible for what he thinks you said and enjoy the board! Too many good people and threads to be dragged down by that type person.

Move along troll and go back a little and read who started the insults and get your memory checked out.

Nothing wrong with calling someone a Dak hater. The insults started with you. You need to move along before you cross another line. Doesn’t take much to get under your skin. lol

yeah 33 TD's and almost 5000 yards. I'll take that ceiling every year.

30 TD passes. .......bringing his career average to just under 25 TD passes per year. Lets hope the Giants and Skins do nothing to improve their secondaries so Dak can repeat his amazing year.

You've trolled several peoples posts in here because they have felt different than you regarding Prescott.

1. Bo's injury was a result of him being Bo. Bo ran with such speed and power that the force of his run and the tackle ripped his hip unnaturally. If Bo had been a few milliseconds slower, he would have sustained such a horrific injury. I remember reading this analysis somewhere. Wish I had kept it..
2. Bo was injured back in the 90s. Medicine, surgery, knowledge and technology has come a long way since then.

Nevertheless, it's not naïve to be concerned about Tua's hip.
That dude was a freak of an athlete

Giving an opinion that differs from someone else’s isn’t trolling. if someone doesn’t agree with your line of thinking you toss insults.

No you threw the first insult using the "Garyo" thing.

My point is im not a Dak hater at all I wish he could excel under McCarthy and take the boyz to the promise land. What I am is a little disgusted with Dak over this contract. I actually heard he was going to sign around the 33 mil rangle backed out and raised the price. Now not being a smartazz and knowing Dak is a good not great QB yet what are we really dealing with here ?

I've stated that I don't care if we sign him or trade him at this point. If we could trade up with Cincy and get Burrow than bye bye Dak.

You both have Gary as your username and you both hate on Dak. You find it insulting to be lumped in with Garyo who you seem to be very friendly with? We aren’t trading up with Cincy to get Burrow. Ain’t happening!

Coaching has nothing to do with actual skills imo. Garrett is a scapegoat because a lot of pro Dak people use his “record” as something to hype him up and last I checked Garrett has the same record in that time frame. Either we’re hyping that “stat” up as a positive or not. I think Romo was better than Dak as a qb but not top 5 elite. I definitely say top 10 and I see Dak a level below that. Romo had a lot of crucial turnovers and people emotions remember things like that so they think Romo some scrub. I don’t agree because I doubt Dak could ever make a Jesse Holley or Laurent Robinson type receiver look good. Heck the time we had that level of wideouts we were fast tracking to a top pick and the wideouts were low key throwing Dak under the bus. To me to be a top player you need to be able to sometimes carry the average players around you not all the time but sometimes. If you look at most top players in any sport at time they can do that but Dak rarely does. Think about it how many games since he’s been here esp since his rookie year would you say he’s carried the team on his back? There might be a game or two I’m missing so you can help me out.

I do agree with you on this. I wouldn't shed a tear if Dak walked because I don't think he's that good. I'd rather take a chance on a QB in the draft. I just think we could both be wrong.

We won’t and Dak isn’t leaving. No matter how bad you want him to leave he’s not.

Not at all.....I’m saying it a great quarterback like Rodgers has garbage yards....why do you guys think Dak is the only one?
I do not think he is the only one , Dak just has a lot more that any top end QB he wants to be paid like and the 4 I mention are mid tier QB's also, I just do not believe his stats mean a lot at 8-8 and what the FO has done to help prop up his talent level doesn't merit wasting more resources on a mid tier QB. who can be replaced at a much lower cost. Dak at the right price as a bus driver may work but I do not see any deep play off run with a QB with Daks short comings.

Im not arguing that Dak is leaving most likely he signs personally I think he will get tagged at 33 mil but we will find out one thing about Dak how he feels about his team.

Will he show up at Camp for 33 mil or skip it....this will tell us about Dak's leadership

He cares about the team but he also cares about getting paid. Holding out doesn’t mean a player doesn’t care about the team. Zeke and DLaw held out for more money. Emmitt held out the first two games of the regular season in 93 for more money but that doesn’t mean he didn’t care about the team. The NFL is a business and players have to look out for themselves first. It’s possible Dak could hold out for awhile but I can’t see him throwing away $28 million on the franchise tag to sit out the season.

LOL hopium!!! That's exactly what it would be. I just think the Cowboys are better off not paying him and signing the UFAs they need. Take a chance on a QB in the draft with another 5 year rookie contract. What are we risking? The great 8-8 seasons we constantly have?

Agreed. We can't build a team like KC b/c Dak isn't in Mahomes league as a QB. So, the team we should be modeling after is SF who went from 4-12 to the super bowl with a game manager QB in one season. Dak isn't going to throw the Dallas Cowboys to a super bowl.
