He's going to surpass Aikman in concussions if he plays next year.
Good luck to him but he's asking for CTE symptoms early(ier) in his life continuing to play.
He has surpassed aikman, it was rumored he had at.least 6 in college.

Even if you could guarantee me he'll play 16 games, I'd be upset if we signed him. With Reed's concussion history, he should NOT be allowed to play again. It's insane that some of these guys continue playing past a couple of serious concussions.

WHEN he's healthy, he's damn good TE. If you OK with Jarwin as your starter, he could be a good back-up.

JORDAN REEDTE, WASHINGTON Commanders

The Athletic's Ben Standig reports Jordan Reed has been cleared from the league's concussion protocol.
Reed's latest concussion — his seventh in as many seasons in the league — sidelined him for the entirety of the 2019 season after he took a nasty hit from Falcons safety Keanu Neal in an exhibition contest. Standig adds that while Reed himself fully expects to be released by Washington in the coming days, he's told those close to him that he intends on continuing his career and playing elsewhere next season. 30 in July, Reed's inevitable release will free up $8.5 million in cap space. The Bills are an intriguing landing spot after recently bringing in Greg Olsen, who has since put pen to paper with Seattle, for a visit.

Now this guy is worth a look.

He has played well at times. If healthy, he is out immediate starter.

Updates?

Because of his injury history it might actually make sense to bring him in and provide some value but in a more limited role (back-up that sees some playing time at a reduced cost).

Kinda like Connor Williams. He's had knee surgery for 3 straight years and isn't built to be a full time starter (just like Jordan Reed). Williams logically would be a great swing tackle and would get a much reduced workload while still providing some value to the team.

so go get another aging oft injured ie unavailable inconsistent player?

how about we find one that is young and talented?

I mean at least Witt only missed one game in 18 years? its important to be available ..

we do need some 6'8 athletic WRs and TES with huge wingspans to catch Daks passes..so ? :muttley::popcorn:
