Listen to Nate Newton (3 Time Superbowl Winning Guard) and Jesse Holley (Former Cowboy and Tarheel) @ 34 min mark talk about how we've been scarred by bad coaching over the last 10 years and how it affects our personal opinions as to how we build a Championship team...

His reputation in Dallas is forever tarnished. He's down in my eyes.

if Dallas doesnt turn it around, thats like saying "well, you failed in Cincinatti" its not much of a threat or downgrade.

The basic theme: coaching matters. They are correct.

They're not saying anything that hasn't been said on this forum for most of those "10 years". The Cowboys have continually been at a coaching disadvantage, and not even having close to a "steak on every plate" was enough to overcome that disadvantage. The new coaching staff has a proven track record of success in this league. Most of them have show the ability to develop championship caliber players. And not just one or two guys at a few positions, surrounded by newbies "learning on the job." (does that sound familiar to anyone?)

And like we ultimately were proven right about Garrett not being worthy of the head coaching job that was gifted to him, we will also be proven right about that coaching disadvantage that he continued to burden this team with. The improved results will be stark, and they will force even the very few remaining excuse-making holdouts to acknowledge the truth.

Fingers crossed!!

How about showing a little respect to the OP. He posted some solid information.:p:D

of course he did, i have no issue with that, just some people are so full of hatred, and i was just saying i had no need for that. but the OP is posted a good thread. lots of information without bashing others or Garrett.

A former head coach demoted to taking a coordinator role.

That's down.

better than being kicked out of the NFL, or getting a HC job in Cincy or cleveland where no one wants to go, or even the jets at this point. So not completely down and out yet, give him another tour and we ll see how it goes.

Nobody said "completely". But put his career trajectory on a chart and the arrow is pointing down after last year.

I'm sorry if the truth of that hurts you, but it doesn't change the fact that it's true.

For someone who won't "get on the kick Garrett wagon" and "moving on", you sure seem eager to try to defend him.

oh come on, im not defending him im defending that getting another job is not being down. You are better than that, you know if he landed a pretty good job and thats it, nothing more, as i said Garrett the coordinator is stronger than Garrret the HC. sorry if the truth hurts.
