I’m sure it’s already been mentioned but Tua only measured out at 6 feet. They were talking about blood flow to his hip. The more I read and hear about him the more you wonder if the risk outweighs the reward with him. Will be interesting to see if he falls or some team is willing to take the chance in the top 10. He may not be ready to start the regular season or may even have to be redshirted.

Lol.....that’s what you trolls were telling us 3 years ago and dak has continued to embarrass you.

“Dak is a backup”.

remember that troll?

So dak, with the horrid Garrett can’t get better with a real HC?

Another laughable comment that will get blown out of the water like the rest.
Sir I need you to stop pulling these very unmanly like moves you're into. Show me proof that I've been saying this for three years or shut the expletive up with your lies. I'm tired of dudes lying with no proof behind their words.

Reports are it’s possible but not 100% assured. If he is that’s a year of development down the drain. All he’ll be able to do is watch. With the odds already less than 50-50 that a QB drafted in the first round will develop into a franchise QB, I would have a tough time pulling the trigger on one in the top 10 that would be redshirted their rookie season.

Rather have Herbert if they were going to move up for a QB but the odds of them pulling a move like that is around .5%

He’s had other injuries like sprained knees, high ankle
sprains, needed ankle surgery, quad injury. So even if his hip turns out alright you never know what else might pop up with the dude to force him to the sidelines. Seems like he is going to be limping around with some ailment to his lower body.

Excuses. 5-10-1. Beat the likes of Bengals, Giants, Browns and Falcons. Had 1 win against a winning team. Needed to face an extremely injured Seahawks team. #1 pick needs to do better than that. We don't do excuses here at the Cowboyszone. You either put up or shut up.

Nice bit of fishing...but if you require an education then...

People who actually understand football factor in key variables such as o-line, weapons, running game, schedule, quality of roster. You can even throw in coaching to defend Prescott as that can only be the entire reason why the Cowboys didn't reach the Play Offs. His quarterback play in a win and you are in game versus the Eagles obviously had absolutely nothing to do with it.

Last season the Cardinals were just starting their transition like the 49ers did a few years back, whilst the Cowboys have been in their Superbowl window for a few years.

So that's why for the Cowboys to not even reach the play offs was shocking and embarrassing, especially considering the Eagles were plagued with injuries throughout the season. Cowboys had an easy time of it in comparison with injuries.

In their division the Cards had two teams that reached the Superbowl the past few seasons and perennial play off team in the Seahawks.
So yeah what was Murray doing

Excuses. 5-10-1 is not acceptable for a #1 draft pick. Need to have higher expectations than that beating only horrible teams or an injured team.

IMO.. Tua is already NFL ready and he will have one of the easier transitions we have seen from College to the Pro's.. Especially if he were on a team like for example... Dallas.

So whether or not he plays his rookie year is no big deal. If you have any questions about his hip then just let him rest it a year. IF you really want to play him then at least wait until November before you put him on the field.

Not a realistic option at all.

Yeah. It'd make me really happy but we don't have the ammo to get up that high. When Tua was projected to go 12th, it was possible.

If the Dolphins and Lions pass on him, maybe he falls and we have a shot to trade up.

But let's not discount the possibility entirely. Stranger things have happened. And they're going to draft a quarterback with one of their first three picks, so don't act surprised.

Gottweeb has been hating on Dak since we drafted him in 2016. I think he has a relationship with Weeden when they were at Oklahoma state. Has a big man crush on Carson Wince since he beat the Giants, Commanders and Cowboys with junior varsity wide receivers.
Gottlieb and Weeden’s times at Oklahoma State were like a decade apart. And even if they know each other, what does that have to do with Dak?

There's no way Dallas drafts him. Unless teams are worried about his injury history and he falls to 17. And I disagree he's NFL ready. There is really no way of knowing. The better teams have an established QB, the teams picking early are not very good, so I don't see how he would transition so easy.

That is just not true at all.

The team he goes to may not be that great but as far as his skill set it is an easy transition for him.

His ability to read defenses and find the open man is so rare but it comes very natural for him. It's an instinct.

Plus he played in an offense with pro style concepts against the best defenses in the nation.

Tua is a slam dunk.

QB's in general are just more prepared for the Pro's now days anyways.

Actually a pretty good analogy right there.
Don't know what Tua's downside is....so that's the risk...but his upside is in the vicinity of Mahomes.

Moot point anyway, as we're signing Dak

Two firsts and a second. Which would be worth if you get your QB.
