If Dak is really like a son, then pay the man and move on to other important football business items. Dang.
umm sons dont get anything they want whenever they want, they are made to work harder for it to teach them lessons.they have allowances not open ended AE Black cards..lol

so as a son hes being taught a valuable lesson, give them a family discount or get FT you hur me..lol

Booger could pick up the pace a bit.

I've rooted for the Cowboys since 1969 (6 years old then), so I understand some of the frustration of our fans under Jerry Jones' ownership, but I don't wish ill-will for him, or anyone in real-life circumstances . Teams are fun to root for, but after the games are played, a real, human perspective is more important to me.

I'm ready for Jerry to disappear as much as most people but hearing him say this is the last contract he'll likely work on is kinda sad to think about
All of those wasted seasons, very sad. He’s already making stupid emotional decisions to the detriment of the team and Mike has even held a practice.

Well said, I hope Jerry lives a long time. I would never wish him ill will, whether we win or not.

Jerry lives by a beautiful soliloquy I once read:
Sometimes I’ll start a sentence and I don’t even know where it’s going. I just hope I find it along the way.
Jerry's comments epitomizes the old cliche, ".. it is about the journey, not the destination".

I sometimes marvel that he can talk so long without actually making any sense. Truly a gift.

He also has his own language. It’s truly phenomenal. Takes years to understand.

You ever look at something or hear something without really understanding, but just enjoy it for what it is? That is Jerry is to me - impossible to understand, but a bit of comic relief in an otherwise orderly world.

"That’s not what counts.” What counts is “when you decide it’s time to make it work.” Not demeaning meeting “but what counts is when it looks like it fits.”

Nothing fits better than the last minute. Jerry's gotta get his attention ***** on.

I understand but what I’m saying is that this business we’re in is football which he’s miserable at. Anyone could have sold this Iconic label.

I partly disagree. This brand has had to have success to become an iconic label. That success occurred before Jerry bought the team but also after. And in the 90's Jerry contributed to that success. Jerry actually
has a decent football IQ. He was an offensive lineman and co-captain of the Arkansas Razorbacks championship team back in the day. Also he has been on the NFL football competition committee for many years. Jerry also paved the way for small market teams to increase their revenue to keep the league and teams viable. That took vision and foresight and pro-football development knowledge.

Now as a general manager he has been inconsistent and adequate at best. I think his age and major business affairs have really been getting in the way of effectively general managing. I wish we could get a 110% dedicated, experienced general manager at the position but that may not happen until he passes, and Stephen appears like he does not want any part of it.
