Ok..

A possibility has occurred in the Cowboy universe..

I had not even considered this happening.

Has Jerrah thought about this in the shower? Is Bob SquarePants really our secret GM?

Concerned fans want to know.

Good stuff. I expect the Cowboys to use an exclusive (or non-exclusive) tag. Dak doesn't have to sign it. He can sit out.

So then what?

Oh wait, in only 4 years since drafted, Dak took a team run by a puppet to two playoffs/winning one. An accomplishment never done by any other Cowboys quarterback in that short period of time. You're point is?!
the point is beyond simple. if we sign dak for what dak thinks he's worth, we will be unable to sign other valuable pieces to the puzzle. in the final analysis, which is more important. 8-8 clearly, without any doubt, shows dak cannot carry the team like mahomey does in kc. kc's last several games on the way to winning the superbowl they fell far behind, yet mahomey led them to victory. when we fell behind, dak got a lot of passing stats, yet we lost.

They just never end. Hurry up FA and draft so the haters will move on to how the Cowboys screwed that up.
Stephen will do as well as possible. his failing was in underestimating how greedy dak would be. that will be Stephen's largest hurdle to overcome in the coming weeks and months.

My question is how does an "elite" QB score only 9 points in one of the most important games of his career, against his team's arch rival Philly and against a rival QB with the NFC East division on the line? That Eagles team were playing backups to the backups and your relatively healthy Cowboys team can only score 8 points? You can show me all of Dak's 2019, career best stats, and it still doesn't answer the question for me. Because of that Philly loss and the teams 8-8 finish, I have to consider Dak's 2019 stats a little misleading and hollow. Bottom line for me, Dak is a very good NFL QB, but he is not elite.

I absolutely can't stand watching Nick Wright talk about football. He has no idea what he is talking about. Cris Carter used to correct him every time he opened his mouth about football and now with CC gone, Nick gets to bloviate about football unchallenged. I won't watch it.

Why don’t you ask Brady why he didn’t score any points against the Titans in the playoffs but did throw an int. The ignorance is thick here.

It's a team sport, it's not all Dak's fault. Even Aikman was crap when the team around him wasn't helping out.

Come on cern. Romo couldn't do it either. No matter whose behind center you're only going to have medicore results as long as Garrett was the HC. Reid is an excellent HC. He worked one on one with Mcnabb and thus a SB appearance in '05. And again w/Mahomes. It was their Cinderella season just as the RAMS had there's a few years back. They AND San Fran won't be back this upcoming season, book it!

The franchise is only going to perform on how well it's coached. And that idiotic call by Moore on 4th & goal (in Philly) in the most important play of the season & division crown on the line, decides to sit both our WR's. What other OC does that? Cowboys coaching staff has been horrendous for over a decade.

brady's approaching middle age despite his refusal to accept it. dak's in his 20's with a better team around him.

Listen..

Even bad press is better than no press..

Listen to the reporting around the rest of the NFL.

Hear that?

The sound of nothing but crickets.

I get that but how many Dak thread dead horses are you going to kill? It’s the definition of insanity.

BS. The patriots didn’t have the weapons they’ve had in the past especially at WR.
