Show me that 'huge pile', because thus far that's what your case is looking like, a huge pile.

I agree with you that workouts against slappies and air shows nothing. That's why I say bring him in during OTA's against actual competition. If he looks like crap then? OK, sorry Dez, we gave it a shot.
You are a metaphor lover..

"Your case is looking like a huge pile?"

:lmao:

Funny honey..

Back half of 2019, Cobb was very good. Better than Dez in 2017, though it's easier to look good as the #3 with Cooper and Gallup instead of the #1 with Terrance Williams.
Yeah.

You have to give credit to Dez considering TWill as your opposite receiver and not being dangerous enough to draw more than single coverage.

Same with a declining Witten.

Whatever.

So I know this is going to tweak a few Forumites here..

But with no live sports to watch, we have to remain entertained.

There are some interesting points here and some footage of Dez with Patrick Mahomes working out together that make you go..

Hmmmm...

it gives jerry another marketing opportunity...that's Jerry. a salesman at heart...a good GM would just walk away....this team doesn't need him nor the drama......and that's been the issue in the past 25 years...drama after drama after drama....

When McCarthy signs Bryant I will know that it is business as usual and we seek to take a step back and not forward.

I was against brining him back but why not? I need a good laugh, Jerry wants the attention and Dez needs the attention. Bring on the circus Jerry, if Zeke keeps to himself this year what other high profile player do we have to worry about making a fool of himself and the team? We need the distraction Jerry, it’s the Cowboy way, bring on the clowns!
But ... but won't it be grand, old boy, when Dez demands more than Jerry will pay? Imagine the contract negotiations for this has-been 30something? Imagine the drama of Dez in Cabo. Jerry caving and offering him $15 million a year based on his shower looks!
But seriously, haven't we suffered enough under the aging Dez? Are we not tired of the drama and dropped balls? Are we fated to suffer 2016 and onward again? Why do we cling to the past? Have you blokes bought into Jerry's 8-8 seasons?
Blimey!
Act like a proper FO for once and tell Dez to pack his bags for the XFL.

Yup, Jerry could easily shut Dez up but they both enjoy the attention too much.

Cobb had a good season and I'd welcome him back. It's tough comparing Dez's 2017 season to anything, though, (or pretty much his 2015 season on up). He just wasn't the same player because of injuries. Of course, he might not can get back near his pre-injury production or avoid more injuries at this point. I think it might be worth finding out for a low-rent deal, especially if Cobb wants more because of his play last year.
