"Significantly" is not a number. Front offices need an actual number to work with. $10 million is not a big increase. Even $20 million is not that big if you are the Cowboys.

The other thing, is, if the CAP goes up $40 million and players like Dak wind up getting $10 million more now then the increase doesn't help. It only helps if they sign Dak to a contract that does not take a chunk out of the increase. But, Dak is holding up the Cowboys from signing other players. They should franchise him and lock in the additional cap space to sign Byron Jones and a few of their other key players.

to me every time it goes up it just means more commercials and even higher ticket prices. Other than Cowboy games I really wont watch other games anymore-cant handle the commercial beaks. Love coming back from a commercial break with the announcers filling u in on the play that was just missed. Coming from a commercial break for 1 play and going back to commercials is just bliss. Days of watching football all day Sunday ended few ago. unless I'm given tickets given their cost I wont even try to buy them anymore.
I guess its worth it tho-we have to be able to pay some of these players more for a 1 year salary than we would get by hitting the lottery

If they hadn’t have dragged their feet on these contracts then they probably could’ve got Byron.

Now Cooper and Dak will just more of that extra 10 mill and Dallas will give it to them.
You think you are the only smart one in the room? These agents get paid to see **** like this coming and get the most money for them and their client.
