MMmmm not sure I would agree with that. Not sure that Arizona would either. His stats would indicate that he is both unreliable and ineffective.
look at the trash oline he had too..and a terrible QB situation.

Johnson received what I like to call the Jerry Jones treatment. He had one reasonably productive NFL season and Arizona freaked out and gave him a retirement package before the original contract was ever finished. Absolutely horrible way to run an NFL franchise.

I've been able to defend O'Brien's other moves. Not this one. It's indefensible.

It’s like a really dumb fantasy football trade. A rb with a big contract, brand name, injury prone too for a top 3 receiver in football. Just laughably lopsided

The NFL is the strangest league. So many stars get traded or cut. Freeman earlier today. It is remarkable. Houston was a team on the rise too. It's just crazy.

nope...too early to say. You and I have no real idea what the plan is. I do know if Johnson has the right team around him, this will help him and Watson. Brings balance to the team. Now I expect Houston to pursue a wr in free agency and the draft. Keep in mind they must find cap money to hang onto DJ reader or tag him.
Johnson hasn't been right for three seasons. Every RB will come and go, but none will last like Zeke.

NFLN saying it was a salary dump for Houston and the past few years they were quietly shopping Hopkins.
Basically it is a swap. Hopkins and 4t for Johnson and 2nd.

no big deal. Each team thinks it improves themselves.

I actually think the Cardinals got the better deal. But Houston really just wanted the cap space.

There is a significant gap in skill and impact between these two players..it's a huge deal
