You said it. I find it refreshing that Jerry is being held at bay. I witnessed the late 90s early 2000s. Would prefer never to be in cap hell again. I'll take my chances.

I would be fine with letting Cooper walk. But give me a defense. Sign one of these top flight DT's in FA.

Yup, agree 100%.. Marinelli was a disaster.

And how stupid were the Cowboys to keep this over the hill has been around? He completely bombed on his DL search. Lawrence was obviously luck.

If you look at the last few drafts the Cowboys have really had some stinkers. Thats why we are a little hurting right now.

The Defense hasn't won a playoff game or kept us in a playoff game since Jimmy was here. I long for the day an Elite defense takes the field again in Dallas. Especially one that doesn't crap the bed at the worst possible time. It seems like forever.

Its basically been Marinelli picking these guys and ruining our defense. Starting with Jones.

Dak playing crazy hardball could mean he will not have his favorite WR. If Coop hits free agency there is a good chance we lose him. Not sure how Dak does not see this? Why cant Dak at least move some on his side to meet the Cowboys?

of course
he’s the “leader” that will hold out for the last dime, team be darned
Great “leader”

Why blame the player when the onus is on the front office to get these deals done in a timely fashion?

He's also the guy who played on a rookie contract for peanuts without holding out or threatening to not show up for training camp like Zeke. Far as I can tell the sticking point was on the # of years. Furthermore, this entire debacle falls on the lap of Jerry, Stephen and the rest of the idiots in the Cowboys front office who thought they could be clever and wait till the last second of Dak's rookie contract instead of extending him a year ago. Do that and today, that amount you are paying Dak would be a lot lesser than the 33 mil a year for one year tag is going to be.
