Hope so, but I think Gregory also failed to abide by testing, which I think can get you suspended. Also, penalties for failing the one drug test per year may still be high for a guy with a zillion past violations.

I haven't read the language in the new CBA yet. If anyone in the league can be tripped up by prior history, it is Gregory.

Have you read it to ensure that he's clear?

If common sense prevailed, I'd say it's a clean slate across the board as far as weed goes.
That is, to say, I'm not 100% sure... lol

I've always liked the kid.
He's completely misunderstood on this board.
I will enjoy watching him play this season.
Hopefully, Time has not robbed him too much of his skill.

The irony of the new CBA testing agreement will always
remind me of Randy Gregory. He's pretty much Patient Zero, or Exhibit A.

Randy Gregory being better than Robert Quinn is the type of opinion that makes this board hard to come back to sometimes

Pencil in Randy Gregory as the Cowboys starting RDE. Now that testing positive for maryjane will no longer be a suspension causing infraction, the Cowboys can finally get the payoff for the most talented Defensive Lineman in their roster. They will not find a better DE in this draft than Randy Gregory, which is why it is okay to let Robert Quinn walk.

I'd like to get Quinn back, but Gregory is the best DE they have.

Good post.

if Quinn leaves, and RGreg has his head straight...

The same Gregory that has been out of the league for 2 years? Has he even applied to get back in the league yet? Would not depend on him but if makes it back then that is a cherry on top of the cake.

Agreed, Jumbo. Plus, the Cowboys have Dorance Armstrong, Joe Jackson and Jalen Jelks as rotational backups to both DE spots. They are set at DE.

I hope this is a joke.

If you paid attention to their game, you wouldn't be talking so ignorant. The Cowboys can't afford an expensive player at every position. Wisen up.

Ive watched plenty...if we get good productive snaps out of ONE of those guys it will be a success. There’s plenty of $ available to get actual talent, if we don’t have a pass rush our D is going to suck no matter what. How this fan base became terrified is beyond me.
