I knew it was a joke when writers were saying the past several weeks how Cobb, Quinn and several other Cowboys free agents were serious about wanting to stay in Dallas. YEAH RIGHT!!!

I mean, he was here for a year. He spent 1 year in Miami and 1 year in Dallas after being with the Rams for a while.
Maybe he wanted to stay, but if SJ offers you a 3-30mil deal and the Bears offer you a 5-70mil deal, I mean, that's money.

Dallas has not been signing big FA but they have invested in players they have. I find it funny people cry about paying Cooper, Dak and Zeke yet holler because we do not go out and get high priced FA off of other teams who are choosing not to pay. I don't see them as kicking the can down the road what so ever, Dallas will bring in FA I have no doubt on that but they will not foolishly over pay.

Crazy money...glad we didn't pay that. Just sign the guy the Bears released, he'll have a good year opposite Lawrence just like Quinn did anyways...will be way cheaper.

I guess, but it would be one thing if Dallas offered him 5-65, but he balked for 5mil total.

Who knows what Dallas offered, but if another team threw him dumb money, well I don't blame him.

Hard to say loyalty when he spent 1 year here. He was an acquired mercenary.

Players get stupid money for a game, but I won't hold it against them when they have a chance to get generational money.
