SAS calling out Dan Orlovsky for Dak isn't worth as much as Wentz

It's funny to me. Everybody who is on Dak's bandwagon loves to point out stats and say that he is the best in the NFC, top 5, whatever it is. They lean on those stats and say "See!!!!"

But when the actual stats guys come out and say that Dak is not top 5 and not worth the money, it's completely ignored.

SAS wants our QB to sit out—not because he cares even a FRACTION of a bit about Dak—because he wants to ruin their 2020 season. He wants to gloat and strut over distraught Cowboy fans, because he’s jealous and insecure. He wants attention and rating$.

That spitting, sputtering, two-faced Jesse Jackson impersonation he forces onto the American public every day is just catering to that huge demo that resents the hype, the nickname, the stadium, the money, and the history of one of the most iconic franchises in the history of sports.

Screw SAS! He looks like the elf in Bad Santa, and I envision a big fist slamming that smirky mug head on!

even I can admit Dak deserves an equal deal. Wentz’s deal before the salary cap went up 10% is essentially worth 36m$ this year. So giving Dak 32 now is the least you could do, and he should get at least a tad more. Then if you look at the Cowboys QB situation, Dak can wiggle out a few more even because they’re hamstrung to him. Wentz got 32 from Philly even with Foles there simply because they believe in him. Dallas doesn’t believe in Dak?
You hit it on the head. Dallas does not believe in Dak and thus they should have moved on. It's a simple as that.

Isn't Orlasky the QB that ran outside the endzone for a safety?.

Dude thought we had coaches from the 90's still on the team and players who haven't been on the team in several years now still on the team. But him and old Skippy have become millionaires 3 fold for being a tv character. Now you see everyone trying to run in the lanes they made. Don't ever let anyone tell you, you can't go anywhere for being stupid.

He will disagree with his post in 6 months when the camera is on

Exactly. He will go back to talking about how awful Dak is after games like last 3 years. Some reason SA took Dak negotiations personal as did Snoop Dog.

Really?

I think SAS loves Dallas.

They tork his ratings every week.

You like Dallas..you watch.

You hate Dallas..you watch.

You like SAS..you watch.

You hate SAS..you watch.

You watch and he gets another place to live in Maui.

What is there to talk about?

He is straight from the Howard Cosell school of broadcasting.

Mix controversy with drama and add a touch of shtick.

Brilliant.
This how successful radio or TV or broadcasting platforms work to generate revenue.
SAS is worth. $10M per year to ESPN. You are correct...Stephen is good at his job.

Having been a pro photog for like 30 years..

I have worked with all sorts of media people in my day.

Advertising drove my work thankgoodness.

So I was always amazed at to what lengths people and companies went to to get viewers.

So Smith is easy to figure. I have no doubt about you saying $10 mil. He has his TV thing, internet thing, radio thing.

He has advertising being sold for commercials on all of them.

I worked for a law firm once and becuz I had some experience with media as a video and photographer.

They wanted to make commercials and run spots for their services. They asked me to get it rolling.

I called the major ABC, NBC and CBS affliates in West Palm Beach and had them layout costs for what we wanted.

I was going to write the scripts, cast the talent spokespersons from our staff and work with whatever TV station we decided on to complete 3 30 second commercials to air.

First step was the budget.

And this is where my post about Stephen A comes in.

The cost to run these ads varied by when we wanted to run them. If it was prime time during the day, one price. Evening time another, late night another.

My budget was $100,000 to start. Which sounds like alot and it was. My most expensive spot was $$1000 per and my cheapest was $400.

I spent all the budget in 4 weeks and it pumped tons of money into the firm.

The costs are based on viewers watching in that time slot and what the show was that was running.

A show like ESPN was very very expensive. Sunday PGA Golf was too.

A local morning talk show, less.

So I learned what it took to do it all and I earned a nice bonus for it. I even thought about selling TV advertising after that but it was all commish and I hated that so no.

So you are right on your comments.

Later.
