Safety Jeff Heath is the third Cowboy to move on to the Las Vegas Raiders today, joining Jason Witten and Maliek Collins. According to a source, he agreed to a two-year deal that can be worth as much as $8 million, according to a source. Heath started every game he has played the last three seasons (48).

ditto, me too. The sooner we except this, the easier it will be. WE ARE IN A REBUILD. This reminds me of the early Bill Parcells years. Remember what he did? He cleaned house. We built primarily thru the draft. Canty,Spears, Ware, on and on. Witten.....Me thinks Mike M. is doing the same thing. That's why Dak isn't under a deal yet. Its evolving.

I love how fans whine, and spout gloom and doom, without seeing the final product.

Ok.. that’s fine if Dallas wants to move on from the Garrett Era and related players..

But.. when are we going to start signing some Free agents to replace the guys we lost! Ugh, this is frustrating

We own the bargain bin. It's waaaay too early to look at available players.

Game winning FF vs. the Raiders was already posted, so here are some of my favorite Heath moments.

Also had another INT that got called back due to penalty this game IIRC.

Still don't know how Rodgers held onto the ball. Should've been a FF and Cowboys trip the the NFC Championship. :(

Game saving stop vs. Ertz that helped turn the season around in '18.

Are we eligible for compensatory picks for Heath, Collins and Witten?

Okay, I was wrong, thought the 'Boys would keep Heath for special teams/backup, but then again who'd have thought some team would give "the worst safety in the league" $4 mil a year?

So who's going to be the whipping boy this year?

To Recap, Dallas needs to replace:

#1 starting CB

#2 starting DE

#1 starting DT

#1 starting SS

#3 starting WR

#1 starting TE

Good luck with that.
Why, that's only four first round and three second round draft picks...this draft.:)

1st round pick for Heath.

Seriously though, a 1st and a 2nd.

Fo real though, depends on who they sign(Cowboys) and the performances of those players.

Contract wise, none signed big ones, so I think there's a calculator on performance/snaps

Don't worry, the garbage dumpster behind the Star is full of bargain basement replacements just waiting for Jerry to cut them a check!

Good for him. He deserves a fresh start. Far too many Cowboys fans refused to get over Calvin Johnson mossing him when he was an undrafted rookie free agent.

Heath wasn’t the first or last DB to get abused by CJ on his road to Canton, but he turned into a very competent starting caliber S and dare I say an elite special teamer.
