What a crazy off-season it has been so far. Never thought I would see the day. Not saying I wish we had kept him, just that times moves too fast and it will be weird to see him in another uniform. Good luck Witten!

:( The Jason Witten Fathead poster on my man cave wall just came down. But it's going back up once he retires. ;)

Thank God!!!
Finally that Anchor is off of our team. Overrated the past 6 to 7 years.
And I know you all will hate me for saying but, the truth hurts.
Been hearing this since before he was 30, yet he kept on chugging

Cowboys had been using him as nothing more then safety outlet for Dak these last few years, i suspect he may be used a little differently in Oakland. If he still has anything left Gruden's offense will get it out of him. They must have seen something they liked because they are giving him 4m and they already have Darren Waller on the team and he is getting 7.5m this season

He can follow Rod Marinelli, Rod Smith,

getting paid 4 million to do what you love isn’t a bad deal
Yeah but he has plenty of money and could get paid that in the media and i feel like he is ruining his reputation playing on for to long

Agree it was Witts time to move on.. not sure the Raiders thinking but not our problem. How great to earn another 4M to take limited snaps.. well done big fella.

Will be interesting though.. I think he was a little underappreciated by some last year.. he acted as Daks safety blanket and even though it usually resulted in us not making the yards.. at least it wasn't a sack. Dak and Blake seemed to be either big hit or big miss.

Will be weird seeing him in another jersey.. but I think it will be a one year blimp that is barely remembered when all is said and done.

Why would Witten go to the Raiders? They have a pretty good starting TE. Witten think he’s going to do Gruden like Garrett and get his playing time?

one of the best ever. he deserves to go out on his own terms... but these end of career moves are almost always awkward and regrettable.

Wish him the best but the FO should have moved on from him when Romo retired years ago.
First Ballot Hall of Fame ?

Future RofH recipient ?

9 Pro Bowls ?

Owns Dallas Cowboys All Time receiving record

Over 14 years in the NFL

It is ridiculous to diss this guy in anyway.

I hate he has left, if he wants to play, best of luck.

I look forward to seeing him in Arizona. Emmitt found life there. Witten will also.

You are being melodramatic. Witten is an all time Cowboy, no one hates him. I think people just hate he stops progress of younger players. I was OK he came back last year but he was slow and showed his age completely. It is what it is.
This.

But you have a bunch of romantics that think his service superceded all. He damaged his reputation in my eyes last year.
