The new CBA limits the time period for testing, the amount of THC is to be higher for a positive test, and eliminates suspensions. Basically, as far as I can tell, they can be seriously stoned in the offseason, but not during the season without fines and possibly loss of game time by the team for poor performance.

He's a good talent and if he can be the player he started to look like in the 2nd half of 2018 we won't regret passing on Quinn at such a high price.

The only thing about him that has progressed since we drafted him is his age. By all means give him his chance, if indeed he does have a chance but i'm not really expecting him to ever live up to the potential he clearly displayed 5 years ago. Just an observation but i'm not sure the most recent rule changes on tackling are suited to his brand of violence anyway.
