Not really, he's saying it's dumb luck. If you look at philly and kc they've been active during the early part of fa the last few seasons.Fair argument.
Wait for the fire to cool down. Buy cheap and hope you hit in the draft. And let your super star whoever swing in the wind while you twiddle your toes. I hope I'm wrong but I've seen this movie for the past 25 years and it always end bad. I hope things would change with the new coach but of now? I don't see it. We signed Coop while losing 2 or 3 guys on defense. Seems they NEVER figure out that defense at some point has to become a more important aspect then it is in Dallas. No defense. NO Super Bowl! As it has been in 25 years.
It depends on what you mean by ending bad. I’d argue for Jone$ family it’s ended very well.Wait for the fire to cool down. Buy cheap and hope you hit in the draft. IDK.. I’d argue the plan is fairly obvious. They believe their stars ( Jerry loves him some Triplets)on offense provides them the best chance to win while providing hope for the fringe and fantasy fans. It also stimulates entertainment and revenue.Ah, we've stumbled upon the problem. There is no "plan". Its a little bit from this guy and that guy......... a hunch.........instinct. This team hasn't had a plan since Parcels packed up after rebuilding the roster.
Mostly in the playoffs.Honestly do people watch other teams?

So , if you can’t win championships remaining relevant and popular and #1 in revenue isn’t a bad consolation prize.
EpicMostly in the playoffs.
I did and I do. It was, statistically.Nobody who watched this team play last year thinks that was a legitimate top 10 defense.
He doesn’t want to win bad enough to totally get out of the way. After the first billion, money starts to take on less importance. Jerry wants to win a super bowl before he dies. Its the only thing he can't buy.

I think he does . He’s already admitted as such. He just doesn’t care.He doesn't know he is in the way. Thats the problem.
But you dont know **** anywayI did and I do.
Well what I said aligns with, you know, actual data. But you dont know **** anyway
I agree. Apparently Calais Campbell was not important but Gerald McCoy is????? hahaha. Good ole' Jerrah doing Jerrah things. Over pay for a WR who has no heart or guts who takes himself out of games and has low work effort. (Speaking about Cooper in case anyone is wondering) Jerry is all flash and glitz and glamour never SUBSTANCE.Wait for the fire to cool down. Buy cheap and hope you hit in the draft. But why only 1 year deals? How stupid. Now Quinn is gone. Why not sign him to a 3 year deal when they had the chance? Same with Cobb?Wasn't this the same strategy that got Quinn and Bennett on the roster for reasonable one year deals? This, I feel, is a smart way to play free agency.
You see the contract Quinn just signed? Now that is really stupid. Finding those Vets looking for 1 year prove it deals is a good way to fill holes. Can't sign everyone to the big contract. It's essential to have young players at the rookie pay scale make up most of the roster. But why only 1 year deals? How stupid. Now Quinn is gone. It isn't Jerry's plan as he isn't in charge.
But this has been going on for about 5 years now.
They resign their own where they want then bargain shop.
They collect comp picks and try to draft well.
The drafting well has hit a large speed bump of late but they hired a new defensive staff to fix those issues.
