Yall have no idea how many wrs MM uses..if you think signing Sanders means he's done at wr, you would be wrong..the guy runs 4 wide a ton..he's going to need Sanders and probably at least 1 more WR...maybe more

If the money is right bring him in. Just do not let him stop you from drafting a WR if a good opportunity comes in the draft.

We only have two WRs that matter right now. I'd like to have four.

You hate it! No way? I see a trend. We could trade for mahomes and you would find something to be upset about I’m sure.
Never seen a poster so upside down on what to do. Guy literally says the wrong thing every time. Never fails.

I'd love it. If we draft another wr, Bryant, Noah or Wilson could be disposable. Even Smith since he only has a year left on his contract.

Spread WCO plays a lot of 4WR sets. Signing Sanders doesn't preclude drafting a receiver, even at 17. This is especially true since Sanders will likely be a 1 year deal 1+ deal (meaning 2/3 year deal with an out after 1).

I hate it.

The draft is loaded.. Draft a guy. He's 33.

Bringing in a free agent receiver has nothing to do with the draft. The Cowboys could just as easily add an early receiver. Cobb is already gone, Austin is a free-agent, Ventell Bryant arrested, C. Wilson wounded, Noah Brown an apparition, and D. Smith missing in action. It's not as if this team is loaded at receiver.

Or do both

Ok, do both but what if they sign Sanders and then they're sitting there at 17 with their top rated WR still available. He's their highest rated player. Do they take him knowing he or their new FA signing becomes their 4th WR? Or do they reach for a lesser rated player because of what they did in FA?

It's a situation teams shouldn't be in. If the draft is the great unknown and FA is about plugging holes then it stands to reason you should go through that unknown first so you have a better understanding of where your holes truly are.

Depends on the money, but if he is up for a similar deal to what Cobb signed last year it would seem a no-brainer.

I usually agree with BPA, but we HAVE to go defense in first couple of rounds. If we’re at 17 and WR is BPA, trade down. If can’t trade down, take next BPA on defense.

You can still take a WR in the draft. If you bring in Sanders, you now don't have to panic and grab one because you need one.

We still have holes at CB and DE and still could use another DT imo even after McCoy. Oh and a S. You can't get all of that AND a slot WR in the draft and expect to hit on all those picks.

But won't his cost be similar to Cobb? Why not bring Cobb back?

Sanders would be good in Dallas but I want to see how expensive he is first. They need upgrades on defense and there are no guarantees the draft will provide them. Sign Anthony Brown and I'll relax a little but if Brown leaves after Jones leaves, there is a big hole in the secondary and no depth.

agreed. People just assume we will hit on 100% of our picks and they will all be instant day one starters

I never understood why the draft comes after FA. To me, it should be the other way around.
