Dak at 35m per year isn't going to get you there either. As people have pointed out with regularly (oddly, mostly his biggest supporters), Dak doesn't win when his teammates don't play well. The Cowboys are not going to be in a position to put together a better team than say, New Orleans, while paying an inferior QB 10m more per year.

At least with Winston or Keenum or whomever, the Cowboys will be able to cut them and move on faster than giving Dak some huge sum of guaranteed money.
