Cowboys getting out-worked again by Howie Roseman. Get impact DT and now pro-bowl DB for only 3rd & 5th. Meanwhile Jones probably woke up at noon - checked their stocks, made calls for food service on their yacht. Meanwhile Howie Roseman is throwing roundhouses at everyone in division. Track record of these two franchises for last 15 years is not mistake.

The Eagles strategy has been sort of hit or miss. Although their hit was their first super bowl ever and two other playoff appearances. It is a little risky but it has certainly paid off for them. I like how they identify areas and go after them aggressively. I typically don't like paying big $ to outside free agents, but if you don't do this, you need to have a front office who can identify talent.

The offseason is still young and the draft isn't even here yet, but I would guess the Eagles will head into the season as the favorites in the NFC East. Although typically teams do not repeat as champions in the NFC East. I don't think any of the team in the NFC East are serious super bowl contenders once the dust settles though. I expect the team will all be between 6 and 10 wins. The Giants and Skins will be bad, but better than last year. I think whichever team that drafts the best in the next two years will quickly rise to the top of the division. That is why the next two drafts are so important to the Cowboys.

Rated 84 out of 114 for PFF. Dude hasn’t been the same since his contract year. Solid but not gonna change the game for them. They still need about 3 more DB’s, some LB help, and edge help if they lose Curry.

Not to mention all skill positions outside of TE’s

Your simply lying to yourself. They were DB or two away from taking that sh!! to the house last year with practice squad WRs. What Wentz did puts him into MVP convo in foreseeable future. Roseman works the off-season like his job is on the line...what a concept.

Man... hargrave is a solid add...hes a young problem on the inside and now they get a top 10 Cb? Eagles are going to be tough. Yes they have their holes but so do we.

You guys give him far too much credit.

Like how can you mention Wentz has practice squad WR's and the next talk about how Roseman works like his job is on the line?

I'm going to give you the real about what Howie Roseman has done.

Gave Slay a huge contract.
Traded a 3rd and 5th rounder for him in a deep draft for receivers. They had a compensatory pick I believe in the 3rd so that should still give them a chance to address receiver there.
He's paying big money to 3 position on the DL. Fletcher Cox, Malik Jackson and Hargave. Moronic.
One of the worst secondaries in the league last year........re-signs most of those guys this offseason including McLeod and Mills.

Also the same guy who drafted Goedert in the 2nd round when he had Ertz already. Gave big money to Alshon Jeffrey's and Desean Jackson who are both prone to injuries. Also traded a 3rd rounder for Golden Tate just for him to walk after a few games.

You guys cap for this dude but these past 2 years have been suspect to say the least and downright bad to say the most.

Slay is not a top 10 CB. I'm sorry. It was a solid get because their secondary sucks. But he's not a top 10 corner just because he got paid like it.

Hargrave is solid but at the end of the day there's 2 starting DT positions. They have Fletcher, Hargrave and Malik Jackson.

They can be versatile with that lineup, i think you are being a bit disingenuous with slay, he’s definitely a real good corner. He will have one of the best fronts he’s ever played with now too.

Thankfully, our coaching is no longer one of them. That's always been the difference and our Achilles heel. Even better player talent wasn't enough to overcome it. No longer.

Washed up? If you think he was washed up wait until you get a load of Slay..........you're bugging.
Have you watched Jenkins play over the last couple years?? He had some okay years, but he was released in his prime at one time. He was always overrated. Yeah, I'll take Slay in a heartbeat. You can have Jenkins. My entire comment had nothing to do with rating an overrated Jenkins, but more pointing out beyond Slay who is their most talented CB by far for a long time they have nothing. Their safeties are old washed up, and CB's just plain suck. It's obvious they'll be drafting a safety, CB or wide receiver.

Versatile how? You are going to have one of them rushing off the edge?
Cox can. Graham will be out there and he’s still pretty good. Barnett from the edge too. I’m just saying they will all be hard to deal with. They’ve had a good dline in recent years and now it got better. Cox can get breathers. Jackson can. He’s been injury prone and cox has logged alot of snaps.

Kelce was the All-Pro in 2017, 2018 and 2019. When was the last time Fredrick was the best in football?
hey I admire Kelce...but when Fred Beard is himself, he is 1A...Kelce is 1B. That's high praise for Kelce. I respect his game.

We go through this every year with a handful of you guys. You tell us how great the Eagles are doing just for them to suck and hover around 8-8 just like us.

We’ve made the playoffs 3 straight years and won 31 games (35 if counting playoffs) over that span. I would argue that’s very much not like you.

At defensive tackle. And even then, paying the three of them as much as they are for two starting positions is overkill and poor use of resources.

It would be like us paying $10 million a year for a backup offensive lineman.
