I wouldn't at all mind landing Sanders. But in a receiver rich draft...I'd rather look for a player that can line up in the slot there, and allocate more resources to the defense. I also think guys like Pollard, Smith, Wilson, etc. could help fill the slot role as well.

AS MUCH AS I WANT HIM.It would be ill advised. Look at this years crop of wr's in the draft and how deep it is. We would be very foolish to do this. On one hand, he gives us a great slot guy..but on the other, who are we passing up in the draft if we sign him? Jerry Jeudy,Ruggs, Van Jefferson and many others are going to be within our reach.

lol thank you, I just said that too. Pollard is a swiss army knife. He started many games at Memphis as a wr and rb.

One thing to consider... who throws a better pass? And, who's projected to pass more this year? Two big questions for a receiver.

If Stephen was low balling how would the Cowboys be an option for Sanders to weigh?

He's a Texas native who has always expressed his love for the Cowboys, he played his college ball in our backyard at SMU,

..but heck, Earl Thomas wanted to play here for Cowboys too, ...

If we get him, I hope he can separate by 2-3 yards on all his targets or he won’t do much.
why do you say that? I mean I have expressed my share of doubt' about Dak and his worth, but from what I hear Dak is near the top in passes completed in tight coverage.

I know this class is deep at wideout but I want someone proven. We can still draft a wide out like Gandy Golden in later rounds and let him get a year of sporadic playing time and a year of NFL weight room.

if sanders wants to play close to home then the cowboys would be great. but if a ring he wants he better not come to the cowboys because he will not see it. I would love one day to see the cowboys win a superbowl again but I just do not see it right now.

If his options are the keystone cop Cowboys or the NFC champion 49ers, what's to think about? They have to be offering similar money but come on man, it doesn't seem much of a choice to me. Sanders is an SMU guy so maybe the location matters more than I think. I'd love for him to join our posse.

Dak is far better than porn star Jimmy and the 49ers run more than we do. I'd rather play for the Cowboys.

How do you know they low balled Chris Harris?
Either that or they didnt make an offer at all, because the deal he eventually took was lower than what he is worth.

So they either offered him even less than that, or weren't in...and are now chasing more offense.

Ridiculous.

You do understand the 49ers just went to the Super Bowl and have a better chance of getting there again before the Cowboys? You have no idea how much the Cowboys are going to run with this new coaching regime. I'd rather be a Cowboy too.

McCarthy is the pass sets up the run guy.
