Interestingly, Heath is getting paid more and according to Bob Sturm was drawing more league interest than HHCD. Not sure HHCD is that much of an upgrade. Hope he is, but I don’t think it will be measurably that much better. Dix is a recognizable name but this is his 4th team in 6 years for a reason.

What's pathetic is these type of moves (mid level starters for not a ton of money) the cowboys could of been doing for YEARS

Last year they could of LITERALLY had Danny Shelton, Johnathan Hankins, and HAHA Clinton for a COMBINED 9 million dollars.........

As a fan that has to make you absolutely sick to your stomach ?

Are y’all seriously saying Heath and Clinton-Dix are the same? Look at their PFF scores career and last year. Haha is a 1st rounder and has been a pro bowler. He’s played at a high level throughout his career and though he’s not the consistent pro-bowler like he was in ‘16, he is still very much a plus defender and an upgrade at S.

We all want to upgrade from Heath, we sign one, then everyone says he’s not an upgrade. I’ve seen his name so many times on FA Safety to sign suggestions/threads lol

Idk how much the needle moves here but I can’t believe we actually signed a somewhat accomplished safety.

He’s a HUGE upgrade. Any other coaching staff outside of Garrett and Rod would’ve let Heath go a long time ago.

It sucks bad to lose Byron Jones and Quinn. But these two deals are great.

Add a CB at #17 and the coaching changes, and I think we've improved the defense. Hopefully add one more pass rusher via free agency.

Lol..they aren't steals at all. They are guys who's names you recognize because they used to be good but now are past their primes and no one else wanted them.
