I'm glad to have Sean Lee resigned. It got me thinking if he is Ring of Honor worthy. What say you?
He may be our best LB this coming year. He certainly was last year but not certain that gets him anywhere near the ROH.

SL has been a good player for the Cowboys. He is a long way from ROH. I would go with Bill Bates before Lee.

Oh I agree with you wholeheartedly. On Romo and Witten/Ware. Just think Jerry may Jerry on Romo (Romo was good/very good, but there are many others we could make that claim of, from the team's history, that aren't in there)...
He may. Wouldnt' shock me. I guess it would depend on the success this current team is having.

just NO. That simple. What has he done? Not trying to disparage the guy, but the ROH is reserved for folks that have achieved greatness . HE HAS NOT.

Neither is Witten or Romo. Don't ya need to win a SB to be in the ROH? That's my opinion. If anyone squeaked in the ROH I guess it would be Witten if push come to shove. But that's really up for debate too.

There are already guys in the ROH who didn't win a Super Bowl and there's even a guy who spent most of his career with another team. I think people have these imaginary standards for it but it really just comes down to whoever Jerry wants to put in.

No!
He's another Bill Bates type player, you know, mates, with "moxie" but not to that level of greatness.
Keep the ROH worthy, and dont clog it with middling players who were hurt half the time!

Romo i'm not sure. The only reason i'm more confident in Ware, Witten and Dez is because they are highly regarded as the best player at there position. At least top 3 during their prime. Romo is a little more tricky. I try to compare guys to who are currently in there to see if I can find a comparison....Romo is the only guy that I can't find a comparison for but maybe Don Meredith? Did some of his post career stuff get him in the ROH?
Dez.:muttley:

I see Witten as the only ROH worthy player from the Garrett era. Unfortunately, there weren't enough championships won and there wasn't enough of a legacy of winning achieved to warrant anyone else.

romo, dez, Witt, Lee.

Lee is not a recognizable player long term... he was always hurt and never did anything to solidify his name with the fans.. so no, definitely not roh material.

no you have to be eligible for the HOF ie at least being considered to be even thought of for ROH.. you cant dilute it for great players, special players who played very long time and sustained greatness for near decade will be ROH CONSIDRED..

so guys like Dez and LEE and as of now someone mentioned Martin, thats no..hes not been here long enough yet but who knows TBD goes for Zeke TBD what will he do in the next 4years will go along way but thats no for now..

yes Witt, ware and Tsmith will make it someday..

some of these bubble guys can help there ROH chances with trip to a SB or two.. theres a difference between special and great..
