NO...you don't trade a player still on his rookie contract (peanut salary) with the production Gallup is giving the offense.
Gallup played 14 games last year catching 66 passes for 1,107 yards (16.8 avg) with 6 TD's...79.1 yards per game.
Cooper played 16 games last year catching 79 passes for 1,189 (15.1 avg) with 8 TD's...74.3 yards per game.
Gallup has shown much improvement with a catch pct of 58.4% last year, which is up from his rookie year of 48.5%.
If he had matched Cooper's 66.4% catch pct, he probably would have been our top receiver last year in every category.
In comparison, the top earning WR Michael Thomas had a catch pct of 80.5% last year and 85% pct in 2018...and there you go $$$.
Since Jerry resigned Anthony Brown, maybe we can trade Jourdan Lewis for Star Loutlelei...maybe.
Lewis has 4 int's, 4 sacks and a fumble recovery for a TD in 3 years...that's good trade value not to mention he'll be only 25 in August.

This is an off base idea for 2 reasons. First, as others have noted, the Bills already traded for Diggs. But second is that with Cobb gone, and no clear candidate to step up into the #2 WR role, it would make no sense to consider parting ways with Gallup.

2 full seasons in Buffalo. Played every game. 2 sacks. 36 tackles.
For reference, Maliek Collins was 7 sacks and 39 tackles while missing 3 games.
Antwaun Woods was 1.5 and 57 while missing 7 games.
You wanna trade a quality #2 WR for an unproductive guy in his 30s.
