Why haven’t Cowboys insiders broken any FA stories?

Jane Slater is a terrible reporter. She really has very little grasp on what goes on with the team. I’d be more inclined to listen to Ambar Garcia.

I don't pay any attention to these so called "insiders" anyway.
Until it's official news announced by the team it means nothing to me.

I hope it carries over to the draft. It makes it hard to get the guy you want when everyone knows you want him. If they like him enough they just trade ahead of you and take him. I'll be perfectly content finding out after the pick.

Corona virus has really impacted FA because players aren't visiting the facility.

Last year we knew about guys like Quinn and Cobb because they spent a lot of time at the Star before signing.

Going back to last off season Slater in particular has been bad. I don't know what her source is, but it seems she is far more times than she is right.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not advocating she gets taken off the air.

this is probably one the main reasons why we are reading or hearing anything. the last coaching staff could not keep there mouths shut.

If it is because of the coronavirus and not allowed in the facility there still are phones that work. If someone was going to leak anything in person, they can still do that on the phone. I think that this season the Cowboys are keeping things to themselves and close to the vest until there is something solid to report and then all get the news about the same time.

Slater did tell us that the Cowboys were looking at drafting Trysten Hill before anybody knew anything.

I had no problem knowing the Cowboys were going to draft Hill, it's only that they should have done it on the third day of the draft. :laugh:
