With Brees and Brady in the division, should Dallas be thinking of New Orleans and Tampa Bay as their biggest competition outside of the Division. So they will need a really strong defense to compete in the playoffs.

Pssht. McClay> Brees & Brady.
They need to worry after we have another killer draft class.

You build to be the best you can be, there will always be teams to beat. I think we will do a better job coaching which should help us beat the opponent and not ourselves.

How about the niners? they just won the NFC with ease
. I’d put the Niners in the same bucket as the Titans as far as you need to stop a big back like Mostert or Henry. I think McCoy is a good start beefing up the interior Dline. But I’m the NFC as far as passing attacks you’ve got to think you’ve got to beet Brees and Brady to get to the Super Bowl, yea while stopping the run game of the Niners/Titans

Lol, ok. McClay or whoever is really making the picks haven’t really been knocking it out of the park lately. Last year was borderline atrocious even without the first round pick and the few years before that were only marginally better.

Well considering they couldn't beat the Eagles JV team...

1 step at a time.

I bet Rush could have beaten them. The WRs were wide open. But we played an injured Dak who couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.

Fitting that a coaching decision ended Garrett's reign in Dallas.

Don't screw up the Eagle's game, and we go into the playoffs on a 3 game win streak with Dak scoring 40+ in his last two healthy games, one of those being the 8-5 Rams. Dline was healthy with its best depth of the year. We would be looking great going into our first home playoff game. They'd be talking about us as "the team other teams didn't want to face in the playoffs".

That's how close it was to Garrett coming back.

49ers are clear NFC frontrunner, I agree
A well-coached, young, talented roster that made it to SB with a QB that just came off missing a year due to an ACL. The second year off ACL almost always better.

May not pan out that way, but they're the obvious choice right now.
